Hilton Nottingham

Travel with my family with small kid and elders, Staffs were helpful & Breakfast was fantastic.

Had a lovely stay. Would have given it all full stars but was actually really disappointed and shocked that, given the price of the hotel rooms, we still had to pay to go to the swimming pool located within the hotel. I even called up to confirm whether it was included or not and they confirmed it was. We went in twice with the kids so cost another £50ish just to enter the pool!!

Very noisy room, could hear the neighbouring room, we were there with children and a lot of swearing from next door. Had 2 doubles in the room but didn’t expect to find them touching, side by side.

Room 421 - where do I start: - lights didnt turn off. Faulty wiring by previous contractor apparently- kept turning back on all night. - tv controls don’t work. Was told that they hire the tvs and are given ‘all 4 one’ controls. Don’t work- even maintenance couldn’t fix it. No buttons to turn over manually either. - lift not working. Went up and down four flights of stairs multiple times, speak to reception, contact maintenance, due to issues found. - Noise. Knowing I had chosen city centre I was expecting some noise, this was a different level. Old sash windows need some kind of screening inside to reduce the volume. - Parking - were sent to a multi-storey that had a height restriction despite being assured this was not the case :( To be clear staff were all aware of these issues yet continued to put guests in?!! Not interested. Really disappointed and definitely not worth money paid. Did not sleep a wink, nor did the kids. Planned on using the pool and facilities but we were so tired just didn’t bother. On a plus side breakfast was excellent, staff at breakfast were very friendly and helpful too :)

Convinient location. Staffs are friendly and helpful. They are kind enough to give us a bigger room for the family, and even helped us to take 3 luggages from 5th floor to 6th by stair.

The location is perfect to walk everywhere and for bus stops. The breakfast is great and worth the price where kids eat free. Staff is courteous and hotel family friendly. Room is clean.

We had booked a family room but the room had only been prepared for 2 adults. We had to chase several times to get the second beds made up at 9pm in the evening

The Hilton staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful could not fault anybody at all. Each In turn made my families first stay at Nottingham very memorable.

Great stay, great location. Room very clean. Sofa bed for child not the best, but we just put the mattress on the floor. Good breakfast.
