W London

Overall I enjoyed my stay at the W London. However, I would note this hotel is best suited for singles and younger couples. It would not be an ideal hotel for business travelers or family. W is known to be a fun and hip vibe, which this hotel is. However the room had a bit of an awkward layout with no real bathroom and the sink in the middle of the room in an island. Location is very convenient in Leicester Sq and at the doorstop of the entrance to Chinatown.

I booked this hotel mainly due to its central London Location for the business meetings attending. Little was I to know that I was checking into The W Hotel Nightclub! The music was is loud in the 1st Floor, where we tried to have pre-dinner business drink, that we couldn't hear each other despite yelling within spitting distance. The bass was so loud that the furniture was vibrating. I am in my 50's however, there is loud and there is loud!! This was ridiculously loud. When talking to the staff, or that we heard was its Friday Night..always this loud. Too much for anyone unless they are pre-pubescent kids. My 'fabulous' room was far from 'fabulous'.. more akin to average. The room needed a facelift/maintenance. Service polite but hardly efficient.In summary, over rated, under maintained, over priced, party hotel for the soulless..never again!!
