Good sized family room. Clean apart from some black mold on bathroom ceiling. Disappointed that the sofa bed was not made up for my son. Comfy double bed. Only 2 mugs despite 3 of us in the room. Great location and view of Tower Bridge. Nice breakfast and pleasant staff. Overall a good stay

The hotel was unable to regulate the temperature in our room our entire stay in July. The room temperature was 25C and despite our daily request to fix it, their efforts failed. We requested another room and were told they were sold out. Instead they would give us a 20% discount credited back to our original form of payment with Hotels.com. We were traveling with other family members who got to enjoy a constant room temperature of 20C so we knew that our request for a cooler room was within reason. Our last night management had a portable air unit that required ice cubes and water to cool our room. We returned to our room an hour later after they turned the unit on to be welcomed by a foul odor coming from the unit. Housekeeping had to spray Lysol throughout our room to eliminate the odor and we disconnected the unit. After all that we endured during our stay, imagine our surprise that The Tower hotel management has failed to honor their promise and issue the credit and ignore the recent correspondence sent by Hotels.com.

When we checked in our child’s bed wasn’t made up and there was no bedding for us to do so. We reported this at 6pm but the bed wasn’t made up until 9pm despite 3 phone calls. This is way past my child’s bedtime. The lift situation needs sorting too. 3 main lifts to service 800+ rooms. The lifts were so busy that I ended up carying 5 bags down 6 flights of stairs to check out as my wife is pregnant. The rooms need to be brought up to date too. The electric sockets are at the opposite side of the room to the beds meaning you can’t charge your phone and have access to your mobile phone. There’s no ventilation in the bathroom either. There were patches of mould above our shower/toilet. Breakfast was really good though and the views were spectacular.

Lovely hotel, we tried to check in earlier but this just wasn’t happening, would of been happy to of paid to get in earlier, although we did leave ours bags we just wanted to get in the room so we could then venture off for the rest of the day. We had a family room which had a sofa bed which was already made up, plus the king size bed. Bathroom was a good size. Hairdryer, iron, all in the room. As it was a family room the sofa bed was in another room with a wardrobe its own tv there was a mini bar which was shut off, this could be made better by having it as a fridge. The room had air con which worked. We had the view of the marina there was a sort of balcony which was full of water, you can’t walk on to it but it could do with a clean. The room is quite dated but seems to me they spend the money on other parts of the hotel rather than the room. No usb plugs just normal wall plugs. We had breakfast which was very busy but was able to get everything we wanted. There was an area in the foyer where you could wait for your room, this had a small pay yourself shop but the prices were astronomical! There is a Tesco express just less than 5 minute walk. The views are amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

We checked-in at 17:30 and our room was not ready as the curtains were broken. Considering that we arrived few hours after the “check-in time” the curtains could have been fixed before our arrival. They sent someone at 21:00 when my daughter was already asleep so couldn’t get them fixed. Through the night the opposite building had the lights on the entire night and sunrise being between 4-5am was challenging to have a good night sleep specially with a toddler. At check-out no one ask anything, just disappointed with our stay. I didn’t rest well.

We had an amazing time in London. I’ve already recommended The Tower Hotel to family, friends and work colleagues. The room was fabulous. I’ve attached a photograph of the view from our room. Breakfast was beautiful. Staff were friendly. Great hotel.

This location is definitely worth the view of the tower bridge. However, we weren’t impressed with our room service meals (2 of the 3 meals on the menu weren’t available and once we received food, most didn’t have must taste/flavor so we didn’t eat it). We also were missing a rubber stopper for the tub and the room was at 25 C (77 F) and couldn’t get adjusted any lower, even after calling multiple times to have someone look at it. Beds were very comfortable and we even got an extra rolling bed for one of our kids so we could sleep more comfortably. Unfortunately the temperature in the room took over, making it hard to sleep. Parking was easy to find and at a fair price for walking distance to both the tower bridge and the Tower of London attraction. Had to use stairs from the car park, but once at the lobby there were elevators.

This hotel was perfectly situated for our family of 4 (teens and adults). We walked or caught the bus to everything we wanted to get to. Can't beat the views of Tower Bridge and the Tower of London right outside the hotel. Lots of restaurant and cafe options within a very short walk. Hotel also has breakfast buffet available for a fee, as well as a restaurant for lunch and dinner. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Well lit, nice shower, tv, hair dryer, kettle, mugs with tea and coffee service, water glasses. The higher up you stay, the better the views, but the longer you wait for the elevator. We took the stairs as much as possible to avoid the long waits. Rooms were ready for us when we arrived. Concierge service looked after our bags after checkout so we could get in sight seeing on our last day before heading to the airport. Overall so happy we chose to stay at The Tower Hotel!

its location, the room and its staffs. Our family really enjoys the place. We would book it again if we return to London one day.
