When we checked in our child’s bed wasn’t made up and there was no bedding for us to do so. We reported this at 6pm but the bed wasn’t made up until 9pm despite 3 phone calls. This is way past my child’s bedtime.
The lift situation needs sorting too. 3 main lifts to service 800+ rooms. The lifts were so busy that I ended up carying 5 bags down 6 flights of stairs to check out as my wife is pregnant.
The rooms need to be brought up to date too. The electric sockets are at the opposite side of the room to the beds meaning you can’t charge your phone and have access to your mobile phone.
There’s no ventilation in the bathroom either. There were patches of mould above our shower/toilet.
Breakfast was really good though and the views were spectacular.

Lovely hotel, we tried to check in earlier but this just wasn’t happening, would of been happy to of paid to get in earlier, although we did leave ours bags we just wanted to get in the room so we could then venture off for the rest of the day. We had a family room which had a sofa bed which was already made up, plus the king size bed. Bathroom was a good size. Hairdryer, iron, all in the room. As it was a family room the sofa bed was in another room with a wardrobe its own tv there was a mini bar which was shut off, this could be made better by having it as a fridge. The room had air con which worked. We had the view of the marina there was a sort of balcony which was full of water, you can’t walk on to it but it could do with a clean. The room is quite dated but seems to me they spend the money on other parts of the hotel rather than the room. No usb plugs just normal wall plugs. We had breakfast which was very busy but was able to get everything we wanted. There was an area in the foyer where you could wait for your room, this had a small pay yourself shop but the prices were astronomical! There is a Tesco express just less than 5 minute walk. The views are amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

We checked-in at 17:30 and our room was not ready as the curtains were broken. Considering that we arrived few hours after the “check-in time” the curtains could have been fixed before our arrival. They sent someone at 21:00 when my daughter was already asleep so couldn’t get them fixed. Through the night the opposite building had the lights on the entire night and sunrise being between 4-5am was challenging to have a good night sleep specially with a toddler. At check-out no one ask anything, just disappointed with our stay. I didn’t rest well.

We had an amazing time in London. I’ve already recommended The Tower Hotel to family, friends and work colleagues. The room was fabulous. I’ve attached a photograph of the view from our room.
Breakfast was beautiful. Staff were friendly. Great hotel.

Awful stay! Shame because the location being beside the tower bridge is amazing but everything else is a let down. The property specifically the rooms were so run down and in dire need of refurbishment. Toilets are falling apart, doors and cabinets makes all the squeaky sound and with mouldy smell to it. The carpet is stained and smelly, overall the room feels dirty, old and smelly.
Asked for late check out even with appropriate room charge because of a very late long haul flight but was declined, with two kids, we were told we can leave at 12pm by the reception but was chased out by the housekeeping at 11:30 then again at 11:45. When I said we were given until 12pm. The housekeeping said that they were not told, as if it was my problem that it wasn’t communicated to them & I am going to get charged if I dont go. So we left

Good location and large family room, very poor service for £274 for the night.
Room was boiling hot 26 degrees and air con was broken, I reported to reception three times.
First time I was told we'll get some one with you and over an hour later nothing, second time reception sounded not bothered and I was told there's no maintenance in the evening but they'll ring maintenance?!?
I had no phone call back for over 40 minutes So 3rd call to reception before maintenance came and confirmed it was broken.
It was 11pm before they brought a portable AC unit to the room which was small and we had to have to right by us to feel any benefit.
Then we were woken at 9am by the cleaner knocking the door to see when we were leaving!!
There are lots of mini bars under the hotel which were playing really loud music, but we were lucky to have a room on the far right of the hotel which was quieter.
It's right by London Bridge so great views and easy access to Tower of London and surrounding area.

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel because I had family visiting from abroad.
I booked a twin room for me & my 10 year old daughter. I do not think the price was worth it. You are basically paying for the location.
Hotel needs a revamp. Furniture, carpet, cupboard door & handles are old. The bathroom could do with the most work. They do not have walk in showers. You have to step over to get in & out of bath which was high. My 10 year old daughter had a bad fall in the bath where she cut herself & was bleeding. People with mobility problems would need to be very careful. The wash hand basin taps were hard to turn on & off. No fridge/mini bar. No usb outlets only 2 double sockets in the room. There was only 1 bedside table which was not placed in the middle of both beds. This would have been more convenient to leave the remote or my phone on at night times. I had to either leave it next to the bed on the floor or leave it on the chest of draw but as my alarm was going to go off at a certain time in the morning I left it next to the bed on the floor.
Last & final issue, there was a knock at 8:44 from the maintenance guy saying he was there to fix the tv. He knocked twice which it woke me up. By the time I got to the door he had already put key in the door to enter the room but I had the lock & chain on so he did not get it. I was so furious & reported this to management where they later told me he read the date on the system incorrectly.

Visited with wife and child on the Easter weekend. This is a truly awesome property with breathtaking views of Tower Bridge from the room.
Bathroom, Beds, rooms size awesome, Fresh towels everyday and a super awesome Concierge team. Breakfast option is also very good.
I visited with a 2 year old kid and needed room service with hot milk and baby food. There was no refrigerator in the room as well. So, could not keep or store food for baby. Milk was only available as a part of breakfast in the morning.
We ordered food in room service as well it was not that great.
