Leonardo Royal Hotel London City - Tower of London

Amazing hotel! Had a view of the Tower of London, was so beautiful lit up at night. Modern, clean and everything you need in a hotel. Only slight frustration was swimming pool not being open for kids when we got there but kids lived a late night 8pm swim! Kids had the best first time staying in London and we’d definitely use again

Travelled with 6 and 5 year old girls, and my mother. We had a superior double room. The girls had a lovely comfortable stay. Great size room, we had plenty of space. I would have preferred a room of the tower bridge view. The service was fantastic from all the staff, we required some support with disabled parking. The breakfast was really good, the live egg station was a real hit and all the lovely treats for the kids. The swimming facilities were fantastic, the pool was really clean alongwith the whole pool area. Only criticism, the air conditioning could be modernise as we were all really warm and felt it didn’t work very well.

Second visit to the hotel and it was as good as the first time. So convient to the tube station accessible to for all. Staff are so kind, friendly and helpful. All facilities at the hotel are great. Travelled as a family of four and for us it was perfect.

We arrived and were charged £100 deposit, this was not mentioned when booking. We ordered room service and paid for this on arrival to the room, when ordering, we were only told about the £3 tray charge but they added a service charge percentage without consent or informing before ordering, so an extra £9 in charges just to use room service on top of expensive food. The food was stone cold also. We were told on our final night by reception staff that the pool was open until 9.30pm, we headed to the pool at 8.50pm to be told it actually closed at 8.30pm due to being a bank holiday. I spoke to another reception staff and was told it’s a bank holiday and shrugged at me. I had two very upset children due to being misinformed by reception staff then shrugged at when it was raised like I should have known. The breakfast was nice, especially the omelettes, unfortunately the poor omelette chef was humiliated by his manager in front of guests, whilst his manager did nothing to help him.

Loved the room, bathroom a little tired but overall was great for the family. Breakfast was superb - glad we paid for it :)

My partner and I booked this hotel to spend a day in London celebrating my 30th. When we checked in around 9pm at night, we were extremely lucky to have been upgraded to a suite! It made my day! The hotel smells incredible as you walk in, the bed was very comfortable, and the view from our bedroom overlooking tower bridge and the shard was exceptional. We ordered room service for the bloomer club sandwich and truffle fries and it was tasty. In the morning we checked out at 11am and left our bags behind reception and went to enjoy the spa which also, was gorgeous!! The staff were very attentive whilst we had a cocktail in their bar area outside. Staff were polite, friendly, and professional. We will recommend this hotel to family, friends, and we will stay again in the future.

This is a great place to stay for families: air-conditioning, pool (tho kids times are limited during the week) and great breakfast!! Staff is friendly and helpful. Arnel, who manages the breakfast buffet, is a superb host, attentive, and astute at finding seating!! He is extremely friendly and personable, especially to children. It made breakfast a special treat! The hotel is also situated literally across the street from the London Tower....a great safe location with great restaurants within walking distance. In addition, this was a trip with our two grandsons and our anniversary as well. The hotel surprised us with special treats and a bottle of wine!! This property has my highest recommendation!

Lovely property with great facilities and in an excellent location with easy access to the tube and nearby attractions. Great for families

Place was fine - perfectly nice. Not very family friendly, breakfast not very creative, staff a bit lackluster, feel like could do better for the price but not a bad experience.

Pool not accessible freely - only set family friendly times not advertised in booking - manager of pool area rude and scolds children for having fun - would not recommend hotel if you are traveling with young children - you do not feel welcomed
