Our family's flights got messed up returning home so my daughter and I unexpectedly had to stay another day in London. I scrambled to find a hotel room since we had to check out of our VRBO. This place was gorgeous and well located for a bonus day in London.

Excellent service. Went to drop our bag off, as we arrived at 12:30 and check in was 2:30, to be told our room can be ready early for us. Excellent, as we had a young child with us. Great room, very clean, spacious and comfortable. It was a shame we were only there for a night. Great location, we would definitely stay there again- although we're now collecting the ducks, so it may be another Apex...

Perfect for our family of four. Quality exceeded expectations for the prrice. Everything was clean and comfortable. It’s close to transportation, the river and the Tower of London.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was quite spacious for the four of us—two adults and two teen kids. The staff were responsive and housekeeping tidied up well when we were out. Clean and outstanding location. We could walk to the Tower of London and the Tower Hill tube stop, and also many cafes and pubs. I would stay here again.

The staff overnight didn't match the same standard of the staff during the day. A little tough to get information about late night room service and we had to actually go down to reception defeating the object of room service. The late night food menu was pretty dreadful. £13 for a pizza was fair enough but we had to wait for around 50 minutes and we're dished up a Chicago town pizza. That's not an exaggeration. It was a Chicago town frozen pizza. Also ordered a toastie which was cut up into four as if it were being served to a toddler and it cost £10. Aside from the food, the room was well presented and clean, the staff were kind and location was great. We would stay again but completely avoid the night menu.

We saw this location on Expedia, and went on good faith. We had a family room, which is a nice queen bed and a pull out sofa. The service was wonderful, and everyone was fantastic! Unlimited cold water and cookies!! Towels and linens were new and clean. The bathroom was nice and clean, with a newish feel. A few minor items, such as a shower that would backup within a few minutes so standing water was in every shower, the windows leaked water when it rained, but only poled up on the sill. The mirror on the vanity desk fell off and needed to be reglued. All minor items, and didn’t affect our experience. If the property was a little more updated, I say exceptional for the location and price, but carpet could use replacing and some painting is needed. Overall, we would go back as a family. And it’s right around the corner from the Tower of London. We loved the 2 minute walk! Also, directly across from the four seasons, so you are likely getting a similar sized room in the same place for perhaps $1,000 less per night!! We will be back! And we are going to book the Apex by the castle in Edinburgh. I would recommend this!

We’d highly recommend this hotel for families as it was in a good, safe location within walking distance to a tube station, the Tower of London, and 15 minutes walk to Borough Market. There’s plenty of shops and restaurants in the nearby vicinity to cater to all your needs. The hotel is clean, modern and looked like it had been renovated recently. The only slight negative was the shower was a little unpredictable but otherwise no complaints at all.
