Club Quarters Hotel Covent Garden Holborn

We had a two night stop in London on route to our honeymoon and the CQ Covent Garden was the most advantageous for us to see family before we left. But we should have taken some difficulty in finding another hotel because we were not a fan. From the size of the hotel, facing the A4200 in the AM when sirens and traffic were blaring, to the safe not functioning, power in the room not functional bedside, and worst of all, the shower drain stinking like raw sewage whenever we heard someone flush or using the pipes. The only glimmer was the late checkout email we got day before we departed. When we spoke to the front desk to secure it, they informed us this was not possible. After a lengthy argument with the front desk we learned the hotel would contact hotels.com to secure half our stay back as a refund. No question I'll be double checking to make sure that happens. If you need a bed and the rest is moot, book away. Otherwise, stay away.

We booked a one night stay at Club Quarters Covent Garden as a family (myself, my husband and our 4 year old son). Upon arrival the reception staff were helpful and directed us to our room on the 10th floor. The room itself was clean but tired, grout and sealant in the bathroom peeling away, rusty mirror etc. The hotel location is good, it’s still about a 10 minute walk to Covent Garden but a good base. Overall an average stay if you can get the hotel at a good price per night but if not there are better options for similar money.

Very convenient safe and lot of attractions nearby. Tube station is 2 min walk Highly recommended for families

Great London hotel in Covent Garden facing a beautiful little park. Extremely walkable neighborhood. Numerous restaurants, pubs, theaters, and an Underground station nearby. I will definitely recommend to all my family and friends.
