Ramada Encore by Wyndham Leicester City Centre

Fantanstic hotel which is less than a 10 minute walk from the train station. Have been to leicester a few times and stayed at another hotel. This one was value for money and far outwayed my expectations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellant - Sahil couldn't have been more helpful - the cooked breakfast on offer was very good and he even offered us poached or scrambled egg even though it wasn't on the side. There was plenty of variety for breakfast. First class in my opinion and I will definitely be staying there again and have recommended it to family and friends already.

Stayed one night to visit family. Hotel was good for that but as a romantic getaway totally unsuitable. Location to city centre was excellent

It was purely a sleep over stay, visiting family so didn’t stay around the hotel. Friendly staff that we met, would have preferred a bigger bed ( purely going on premier inn beds). Hairdryer not working. Quite noisy from outside but wouldn’t blame that on the hotel. Would have liked better parking facilities/disable parking as husband has a blue badge due to mobility problems. A little expensive just for a room to sleep in but thankful we could use tesco clubcard. Would stay again but only by using clubcard again so please don’t stop this benefit.

The staff was friendly and attentive - though, having booked a family room, I was mildly surprised at being asked if I wanted a room with just a double bed, specially as my teenage daughter was standing there with my husband and me. There were no issues when I said I preferred the room with a sofa bed though. The room was alright. The bathroom was a bit smelly - the type of smell that comes from the shower drain - but nothing too bad, specially with the door shut. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great. The location was perfect for us: walkable from the station, next door to the Curve theatre, where we were attending a graduation ceremony. Would definitely stay here again, great value for money.

I had multiple problems with my booking. I was told I could check in at 1pm but didn’t get my room till 2pm. I was told by two different associates that breakfast was till 10:30 and when we came down at 9:45 it was over. Both of these issues they corrected, but this caused stress to both my wife I. The biggest problem with this location is the parking. Unloading and parking a family people carrier was a nightmare. I’m surprised this hotel is listed as family friendly because I don’t think it is at all.

Excellent location..close to train station and city centre. Room was smaller than expected for a family room but comfortable and clean. No view out of window so slightly disappointing. Breakfast had a good selection of cooked food but not very hot. Overall a good stay, would stay again.
