Hotel Brooklyn Leicester

Was unable to make it due to getting very unwell the afternoon/early evening on check in day, but I had dropped off my luggage the day before check in, so seen the reception and outside, which looked lovely, modern and unique. I was very excited to try the bar and get checked in the next day (was booked last minute as hard to get childcare for getaways). Staff rude after I explained situation and that we couldnt come, and I kindly asked for another date as already paid and was very upset about it, they refused bluntly and no understanding from staff. Even asked them for partial refund as I didnt use their utilities, facilities or cleaning fees etc. Wont ever by able to visit now as too triggering from money loss and no compassion from staff. No parking on site-extremely limited, though train station 5min taxi ride.

Had a great couple of days at Hotel Brooklyn Leicester for a family wedding. The place is spotless and the staff go above and beyond. Beth, the event coordinator, Sam, the bar manager and Dennis, the operations manager made sure everything went without a hitch - All were superbly professional. The bedrooms are really comfortable and quiet with powerful showers, I fully recommend Hotel Brooklyn Leicester to everyone looking at hotels to stay at in Leicester.

This was a first stay at the hotel. Reasonable price rooms which most of the family stayed in. We also had booked the room with a terrace and hot tub which was a hit with those that had time to use it. Friendly reception and bar staff. Good choices with wide range of hot and cold items available for breakfast. Only downside is that the hotel parking is steep compared to the parking at the Tigers but you are fully informed about this. hotel is conveniently located

From the moment I arrived I was impressed with this hotel. It looks fantastic from the get-go, and the service on the front desk was friendly and efficient. I stay in a lot of hotels and can honestly say that I could not fault this hotel one little bit. I loved the little touches they have created such as having classic literature from F Scott Fitzgerald available in the rooms or the quirky telephone. Even the hangers in the wardrobe are embellished with the BKLN logo. For me a hotel always hinges on the shower and this one is awesome! The addition of the ‘rain’ shower was so relaxing and I didn’t want to get out! Another nice little touch was the fact I could only book a twin room but was travelling solo. They clocked this and put the beds together and made it a super king size bed and I slept like a baby. Overall 10/10 for this place and I will be looking for the Brooklyn brand in any city I travel to in the future. Jamie
