Love staying in this hotel when visiting family

Amazing experiance my family came from the USA and we all stayed there so helpful

The hotel fell short of expectations, with a concerning discovery of glass in the room, an unexpectedly closed restaurant, and a complete lack of a kids' menu. These issues combined to create a disappointing experience, overshadowing any potential positives and leaving much to be desired for family-friendly accommodation.

Extremely friendly and helpful had everything set up for us and our 8 month old baby with a welcome note. Very clean great location spacious modern very nice overall

The room was clean and as good as I expect from a Marriott hotel. Initially I was given a room that hadn’t been cleaned, but the staff were very helpful in arranging another room. I had two rooms in this booking, one of the rooms the air condition was not working which made the stay quite uncomfortable. On a hot day with young children, I did not get a good nights sleep. Upon complaining I was given a desk fan, which was totally inadequate. Breakfast was great, and the service was very good, however, I was too tired to enjoy it much. It was a shame that the hotel was not able to offer me any refund either! It has put a sour taste to my stay at Marriott hotels.

One night stopover on the way south, had a family room, with two double beds which was fine for us and our kids, aged 13 and 11. Pool was warm and not too busy for a swim after a good breakfast - pretty much standard for a decent chain hotel...Carparking was only £2.50 a night which was convenient and the hotel is near the M1 so good for a break if making the long journey south.

The Leicester Marriott was a luxurious experience. It really felt like we were staying in a 5 star hotel. The location was good, and the atmosphere, the lighting and ambience was amazing. I would recommend this hotel to couples, families and even businessmen. Lastly I just want to say that I wish the rooms had more channels.

Really well looked after here! Denny & Rupali especially were great, made us feel so welcomed and helpful as we had a our 7 month old baby with us. They made things so much easier, they went about and beyond, everyone from the potter to the waiter to the the chefs at breakfast time
