Breakfast was awful for the money, awful machine coffee ? How difficult is it to brew fresh ground coffee and serve it to a table in a pot. I haven’t seen smaller croissants at a children’s party . A this stems from poor management and penny pinching although at £16 for breakfast I was the one ripped off. Due to stay in Hythe again but I’ll be looking elsewhere. Shame because staff are nice and it’s a beautiful hotel in a lovley place.

The hotel itself was nice . We were upgraded to a family room , which was a lovely room but there was only two of us so waste of a second bedroom . However the breakfast the next morning was poor to say the least . It was a buffet , expected a little bit more from such a nice hotel . The scrambled eggs looked like they had lost the will to live , and that was the only egg choice . My partner left his breakfast bacon was pink and sausages were ok . It looked and tasted like everything had been fine on the cheap not impressed .

We throughly enjoyed a very relaxing stay at the hotel following a very busy Christmas. I phoned ahead and we were able to check in 2 hours early, which gave us extra time to enjoy the lovely swimming pool. Our room, which was a junior suite, was spacious, nicely decorated with a lovely sea view., also included was a complimentary mini bar. The bed was huge and very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant, where we found the food delicious and the service attentive, as were all the staff throughout the hotel. We enjoyed a full English buffet style breakfast in the morning. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a little bit of luxury at a very reasonable price. Im sure you wont be dissapointed.

Great hotel. Reception staff - I didn’t find the lady at reception particularly helpful. I booked two rooms which were not allocated next to each other; when I requested how was the allocation done all she said was there is nothing I can do I didn’t do the allocation. Common sense would have been ideal! Restaurant staff need more training on how to serve (ie not serving a dish across a seated guest); more knowledge on menu and wine options to avoid having to constantly ask the manager Restaurant Manager was great and friendly. Attended to our complaint as the adults mains came before the childrens meals. Better signage to get to the pool would be helpful

When booking check in stated 3pm, in later emails it stated between 4 and 5pm. This was booked for a wedding at a seperate venue, on arrival at 11pm we was told that there was also a £50 deposit this was not stated in any previous correspondence prior or through out the day, we also arrived with a baby of 18months old and was told that he was not able to stay in the double room that was booked and that we needed a family room with a seperate room, which was £175 extra we explained severeal times that a baby would not be in a seperate room hence why not booking a family room to begin, we was told that the manager would have to agree before we could get a key to the room, it was also stated on many occasions by reception staff that we did not have the wedding at the hotel it appeared that this was the issue, luckily another of our guests had booked a family room however if this was not the case we may not of been allowed our room with a baby, for a 5 star hotel this was an absolute disgrace with such a young infant at such a late time, multiple of our guests had multiple issues on the day.

Really enjoyed my stay at the hotel while visiting family. Right on the sea front which is gorgeous. I thought the bar prices were steep 😏 £8.55 for a single rum and draft lemonade. Other than that. Friendly helpful staff. They need more disabled parking spaces at the front of the hotel. Only three at the moment. Room and bathroom were lovely.

I had booked this hotel a good 4 months ago for a friends 40th birthday. The night before I was due to stay I was taken to hospital with chest pains and was unable to attend my stay. When I called the hotel to see if I could get a refund or even change the date to next year and suggested adding more money to the new date I was told I was unable to do that and that the room was non refundable and non changeable. Circumstances out of my control and the hotel were not accommodating at all. Very disappointed but I will be sure to inform friends and family of the hotels policies.
