Great location for the Eurotunnel, comfortable room for a family and good breakfast options. Reasonable price but stay again.

TOTALLY UNSANITARY! Leaking toilet. Each time the toilet was flushed it leaked water onto the floor. Issue only noticed when our 2 young children were in bed so we couldnt swap rooms. However once we raised it, no-one seemed to care. Left with a floor that we had to clean, and a toilet that we couldnt flush. Issue raised 4 times since by email and customer services. I intend to contact the Department for Health.

Nice and clean and good for using the le shuttle. Food options were not great and food wasnt that nice very basic and no taste. Rooms were nice and comfy however, we were a family of 6 that had to book 2 rooms to fit us all in and they put us in separate places. Me and 2 kids were in one of the conjoined rooms so had a door between us and next door and you could hear EVERYTHING! sneezing, TV, them talking and they were so loud until early hours of the morning. The doors are also not slow closing so would slam shut. Very dangerous especially for little kids

We stayed in a family room for one night before using the Euro Tunnel the next day. We had an early crossing but there was a breakfast available at 5am and it was brilliant! Had everything we needed. The sofa bed was not made up when we arrived but it was no issue for the staff who had it done before we returned from having some food. Great location, and very easy to get to the Euro Tunnel. Even a petrol station very close by the hotel as well

Crowdy family hotel as a stop over for the Chunnel service. Ok for 1 night. "Restaurant" is more a fas food diner than restaurant. Very smaal bathroom but clean.

Simply outstanding. We stayed in one of the lodges and it’s was beautifully laid out with everything we needed. We had the kids with us so went to the pool and then the Mediterranean restaurant. Awesome service great food. The falconer and the ferret feeding the next day was the icing on the top. Well worth the drive from London.

Ideal hotel and great room. Shame there isn't a way for guests to inform what time they expect to leave and group them together. Was rudely awaken at 5am by a noisy family in the room next door getting up and leaving.

I was greeted by a lovely person, I think his name was Lee who was very friendly to my family including my toddler and baby. After a long trip in the car this was a very pleasant start to the reservation. We opened the door to our family room for the first time and it was absolutely freezing. We assumed the cleaning team left a window open or something, but noticed that you couldn’t actually shut the window all the way (Additionally, there was a lot of noise from the car park below which woke my toddler up at 6.30am, as the broken window issue was not resolved) After speaking with Jamie about the issue, the solution was to ‘give it a good slam’ and offered me a portable heater for the room and let him know the outcome. If it was me and my partner, we wouldn’t have thought twice about it and continued with our reservation, but in the winter season with two kids under two, we couldn’t just let it slide. After slamming the window we noticed that the handle spins 360 degrees and isn’t connected to anything inside the window mechanism. I spoke to Jamie about this and being late into the evening with all guests and family rooms booked, he could only offer us two twin rooms which was not a possibility with my family. I declined the offer as it was late at night and trying to put our kids to bed was priority. We just wanted to get some rest. Very grateful for the heater which helped a lot but it shouldn’t have been an issue in the first place if they maintained their rooms

The bed and the camp bed were both very uncomfortable, and none of the family slept well. The hotel is generally clean, but jaded and in need of some care and attention to the fixtures and fittings.

Likes: no noise, quiet surroundings and easy access to shops such as Tesco. Dislike: - sofa bed was not comfy. - Was supposed to be a family room but was not child friendly. My child fell on the corners of the sofa bed and bust his lips open. No first aid available at the hotel in case of emergency’s. - Windows was dusty, curtains were dirty or stained, looked like it hasn’t been changed or washed. - lack of fridge in the room so couldn’t store breast milk. - no safe - food was expensive - breakfast was not the best- eggs were too salty.
