The Conningbrook Hotel

I loved staying there my room was clean and large but the internet went out the second day I was there and it was spotty rest of the time. Since I’m from the states I had no carrier in London and since the internet was down I couldn’t connect to the WiFi so I couldn’t make phone calls, look up information, check facebook, or check in with my family. It was very frustrating.

Excellent staff and service, meals were good , room clean and huge, number 32 is a family room so massive for two of us. You must try the long island ice tea, excellent value. Will stay again when in Kent.

I honesty cannot recommend this hotel enough. Our room was lovely, so spacious, great bathroom, very comfortable memory foam mattresses, great mirrors, towels and everything you would need. Large TVs that actually work. Tea and coffee. Sofa, plenty of storage, table and chairs. Hair dryer. Shower was lovely, like a rainfall. Bath was a huge jet tub with a seat although I’m not sure the jets worked. Lots of toilet roll, towels, body wash, hand wash and shampoo. You’d need to take conditioner. They give you a key to the main entrance door in case you want to come back late which is great. Easy key drop off. Free WiFi that works. Heater in the room. Large restaurant onsite and they book your table for the evening as soon as you arrive. There was live music the weekend we stayed. Loads of free parking. Two large local play parks for kids. Beer garden. Restaurant food was okay but we would probably eat elsewhere next time. Overall we absolutely loved it and definitely want to go back. It was shocking cheap too! We were really happy.

Accomodation was good for the money - family room was very big and comfortable. The bar/restaurant however was a little disappointing. Food we had at breakfast on first morning and as evening meal was good, but they are somewhat understaffed and on second morning we ended up leaving at 30min because we didn't want to wait any longer for our order to be taken. Hopefully they manage to sort staffing out as its a nice place and it lets it down a bit.
