My first impression of this place is really good, it was easy to find, clean, Enough parking space and the staff were always friendly. I took a single room on the top floor (307) and everything was fine until I noticed something crawling on the pillow as I was going to sleep. On closer look it was a bedbug. I wrapped it up and took it to reception who immediately changed my room to 206 which was similar. Feeling a bit at ease I was planning to fall asleep when noticed 2 tiny creatures crawling on the wall which were 2 baby bedbugs. Being 1am in the morning I did not have the energy to change rooms again but managed to fall asleep finally at 2am and woke up at 7am. One of the towels had fallen of the bed and on lifting noticed 3 big bedbugs on it. By then I had had enough and left early. I reported this to reception who apologised and said exterminators were coming in that day to have a look. I did mention that it could be a problem in whole hotel and not just few rooms. This is likely with the recent epidemic of bedbugs coming to London from Paris as shown in news. If it was not for this experience I would have recommended people to stay. I would have preferred a refund of the night stay if I could but I was already tired and exhausted due to work and disturbed sleep.

The room was small, but I had expected that. A free-standing fan was provided in the room, and it was needed since it was a hot day. I had chosen a room with an ensuite toilet, but a shared shower. The shared shower room was easy to use in the evening, and very clean. As a place that is very convenient to a Piccadilly Line Underground station (a short walk away), it is an ideal place to stay the night before flying out from Heathrow. There are many nearby places at which to eat, and it feels like it is a safe area (lots of families in the shopping areas). The staff was very friendly and responsive. If you are looking for a clean, no-frills, relatively inexpensive place to stay before flying from Heathrow, it is perfect for that purpose. I would definitely stay there again.
