Kings Head Hotel

Exceptional hotel and will be returning. Location couldn’t be more perfect for exploring Cirencester and was absolutely beautiful interiors. We had a junior suite and it was stunning.

I stayed here for my birthday - and had a wonderful stay. What a lovely hotel. We booked a junior suite and it was very spacious! The bathroom was huge! Nothing was too much for the bar/restaurant staff. I would definitely recommend

The facilities of the hotel were pretty good and the location is excellent BUT the rest were underwhelming and disappointing really. We have booked an apartment as we are a family with a newborn and a toddler and upon check-in they told to take the lift to the 1st floor. Setting aside that nobody was there to help with the luggage, after arriving on the 1st floor we had to cruise through the narrow corridors of the hotel for quite some time, go through doors and climb 27 steps with the pram (since nobody bothered to inform us) till we could find our way to the hotel apartment we have booked. As we wanted to order in we realised that there is no internal communication with the rest of the hotel so we had to go down to the reception or to call via our mobiles. The next day, we left in the morning and returned in the evening, expecting a clean set of towels and a clean room but none of these have happened. As advised, I called the hotel reception and the cleaning team via my mobile and i was trying for 20 mins to get hold of them but nobody was picking up the phones. I left a voice message but again nobody bothered to respond until i had to go down again to ask for it once more. Finally, at the check in i was informed that i had to pre-pay the full amount and not just to give a credit card for them to block an amount as a guarantee, which i found quite unusual. Overall we were very disappointed by the way treated, by the lack of information provided
