The Chester Grosvenor

Our hotel (The Chester Grosvenor) was stunning and perfectly situated with a grandeur interior that oozes bundles of original features! The staff were welcoming and pleasant and nothing was too much for them. We were treated on arrival to an upgraded room, staying in a junior suite which was perfect in all areas. The City was beautiful with lots to see and do from walking the City wall to walks along the river and gardens with lots of historical points of interest to stop and absorb throughout the City. The shops were quaint and inkeeping with a good variety of choice. The City was clean and well kept and a testament to the people that maintain it. Overall we had a fantastic stay in a fantastic hotel with a beautiful City surrounding it.

Nice Hotel, lacking a relaxing area to sit, no lounge, continental breakfast was sparse no eggs or cooked meat which is what we expected and a normal breakfast is an extra £9.50. We paid an extra £20 for a room up grade but against the room my daughter and family occupied I could not see what was extra. The hotel was comfortable and excellent service given by all the staff. However the breakfast even though only coffee and toast took an age.
