Leonardo Hotel Chester

A very good quality (city break) hotel, well positioned for visiting central Chester. We booked three rooms for our family visit and all were functional and spotless. Public areas are comfortable and well designed. Breakfast was great! Would definitely recommend.

Need to sort booking through Expedia and lack of noting down the fact that the room included a child, so three people in total

Whilst staying here for a sad reason this time, it was as always comfortable and calming to come back to after a long day. Staff are always helpful and the beds are top notch. I recommended it to friends and family staying for the same reason and all were grateful. Will always stay here when in Chester.

Everything great the property. We got two rooms at the far end, both smaller than others. Given we went as a family, staff could have been more considerate. We didn’t complain since it wasn’t a big deal but small things make the experience

Wonderful location. Walking distance to most everything. If it was too far to walk, transit was right outside and a taxi only cost 4 pounds to get you to the train station. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family and would love to come again.

Overnight stop in Chester with family. Rooms were standard and comfortable but bedding was roasting! Excellent breakfast.

Great hotel right in the centre of Chester. As this is a fairly new establishment repurposed from an old shopping centre it is all in excellent condition. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of pillows. The hotel was very quiet despite our room looking out on to a busy street with traffic restaurants and pubs all around. Had a drink in the bar which I found to be quite pricy also the breakfast was a little on the steep side at £12.50 each., with a family of 4 that makes a big dent in the finances. We opted to go out for breakfast and being central there is plenty of choice and costs are cheaper. The staff were very friendly and helpful and overall we had an excellent stay and will be back again soon as we did not manage to do all the things on our list.

We had a family room and the air conditioning didn’t work, it was 32degrees and couldn’t cook it down, no other rooms available for us all but Customer service was excellent trying to sort the issue. We were given an alternative room for most of our party that was cooler and my husband stayed in the room that was hot but the next day they didn’t charge us for the night and ensured it was fixed on our return for our second night and they were very apologetic and tried lots of things to accommodate us. Super friendly staff and great breakfast.

Great new hotel in the heart of Chester. We had the family room for the 4 of us and it was very comfortable. Staff were really nice. I will definitely stay here again. Good value for money.
