The hotel had extremely noisy beds and no parking but offered an NCP for £30!! We found parking 10 mins away for £10 but there's parking right to the side of the hotel for £6! This would have been more convenient with luggage and children in tow

We stayed for 1 night for a concert at the Utilita Arena which is in walking distance of the hotel. The hotel staff in reception and at breakfast were all friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed but the bathroom was looking a bit tired. The price was excellent for a family of 4 though especially as a good breakfast buffet was included. We parked at Newhall Street NCP for a secure car park which was about an 8 minute walk from the hotel - maybe not ideal for everyone but fine for us. Best bit - really great staff, worst bit - noisy guests in the corridor at 5.30am!!

Good value, basic. Had a family room which included a sofa bed. Hairdryer wasn’t working but was very quickly replaced and even brought to the room. Breakfast is included which is great for the price but not much provision for those with different diets. But again, to be expected when it’s free. Hotel advises car park 10 mins away for £30 charge when there is in fact another one much much closer which only costs £6. You can also do on street parking in the jewellery quarter which is free on Sundays.

+ breakfast at 7.30am (basic, but had everything I needed and not bad for free) + location ok (25 minute walk into city; team stop directly outside hotel) + staff generally friendly + gym ok (small, but did job for me) + room comfortable (although a touch small for family of 4) - breakfast at 9.30am (very busy and staff finding it hard to cope - lots of items out of stock, e.g. hash browns, croissants, any type of fruit. No clean forks or glasses available) - nearest "secure" parking was 15 mins away, and even that gets poor reviews. Ended up parking 25 minute walk from hotel, not ideal - room sink still had hairs in it from previous occupant - room key didn't work, hauled bags back down to reception to get a replacement; no apology from staff

We came to stay one night as a family and were happy with the hotel, very clean, nice staff and hotel room lovely. We paid £6.22 for 24hours parking in a car park which was less than 5 mins walk so that was fine. The breakfast was nice too and free with the booking.

terrib;e hotel, we were stuck with it as i couldnt change, breakfast was terrible, with no options, worst was our room was so small (yet a family room), and the window did not open (how is that legal???), so it was incredibly stuffy, god know what would happen if we came here during the summer!? never again!

Rooms were superior to family rooms we’ve stayed in lately but the room soon became cold. Breakfast was chaotic. Food ran out very quickly; whatever we wanted to eat we found ourselves having to wait for long periods of time or having to ask for food and utensils.

The room was too hot when we entered. The aircon wont set below 19 degrees, so we slept not using any blankets. Extra duvets & blankets provided were crampled maybe been stored in that room for along time & wasn’t been washed & cleaned, looks filthy. The room smells smoke, the bed and the towels smells smoke. There’s no shampoo as well as the containers are broken only noticed in the morning when were we are about to shower. They should provide shampoo & body wash in small sachets to avoid contamination. That family room was too small for us as family of 4 with 13 & 15 year olds

Nice hotel, comfortable room with big tv. Breakfast was very busy, the staff couldn't replenish quick enough so that was a shame and things like the waffle machine was empty and they didnt refil which was a disappointment to my kids. They would be better to get guests to sign up to a breakfast slot to stagger it. Parking not on site, local parking got bad reviews so we parked in a secure place at the Mailbox £8 for 24hrs, was a 20min walk away but we didnt mind. Overall hotel good value for money and we would stay again.
