My entire family got sick after breakfast on January 27, 2024. We believe it's the eggs because our child only ate the eggs. The other persons who were on the trip with us who made fresh omelets, did not get sick. The taxi driver who took us to the airport mentioned that he took someone to the pharmacy who complained of similar symptoms.

I love the Hyatt! The staff are friendly and polite. Clean. Rooms are nice and comfortable. No additional amenities unfortunately ( shower hat specifically) Love the pool. As I was with 11year old children, it was good to see that the highest section of the pool was 4 feet. I felt very relaxed

An absolute gem of a hotel! We highly recommend this property in Trinidad. The staff went above and beyond each day whether it was the cleaning staff or the front desk. Our room was throughly cleaned each day. No stone was left unturned at the Hyatt. The view and location was immaculate. We felt safe on and in the hotel. I highly recommend this stay for individuals and families alike. You will not be disappointed!

This was my first stay at the Hyatt and it was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and attentive, which isn't always the case in my home nation. I had some interesting conversations with the crew as well (Theo, Shai and others). The hotel is in a picturesque location on waterfront and the food is great (albeit a bit pricey). Add the breakfast option, which has a nice mix of both traditional continental breakfast and a fair amount of local breakfast items to choose from. I normally don't eat a big breakfast; but I made an exception at the Hyatt. My one complaint is that I don't like the modern glass bathrooms with the band of frosted glass in the showers and bathroom. I know it is considered trendy, but it is not my thing; especially if you are with extended family or friends. I would have like to have some better local food options -other than the hotel- but because of the current state of affairs in Trinidad, that was not an easy option.
