Ayre Gran Hotel Colon

Staff was great! Hotel could use a bit of an upgrade as rooms were very noisy and kids running around until midnight screaming down the hall.

This hotel is in a nice neighbourhood about a 10 minute walk (through beautiful Retiro Park), or a Metro ride, to the museum zone in central Madrid. The hotel has a pleasant decor and was spotlessly clean with gleaming floors throughout. There are two interconnected buildings; one is on a major road and the second one is behind the first. I was in the building that was distal from the main road and it was very quiet. Staff wore suits and presented themselves in a highly professional and helpful manner, and the ones I dealt with spoke flawless english. I believe that professionals and those with families would find this hotel most suitable. I plan to stay here again.

A very nice hotel in a good location. Great for families and reasonably priced.
