I had stayed here many years ago and booked it this last time because it would have the same look and feel. A Spanish group has purchased it, and here it is 100% the reality. 1. Location - Good but crowded, depending on what you're looking for. 2. Hotel is not suitable for children under 12 3. Staff needs to have real-time information about events and or shows, the process to get any information was ridiculous, and I ended up booking in 5 min online. 4. The rooms are awful; they are small, have old furniture, cheap curtains, and overall, 1990, with some paint touch-ups. 5. Hallways were dirty; look at the walls where the scratches and dirt are apparent. 6. Shower pressure is GREAT, and so are the shower products. 7. There is no single adapter for the USA to EUR, and a modern hotel must have this and include a C plug next to the USB. I don't have photos, but I am back in Madrid often and can share these if I have to.

I booked this hotel for my parents who are on their late 70th. Immediately after the booing was made, I was contacted by the hotel asking if there anything they could to for them to make their stay more enjoyable. Since my father celebrated his birthday a day before check in, I asked them if they could do something to mention this special day for him. The staff asked me to send them a birthday note and some pictures, and they will take care of the rest. On the day of check in when my parents got in them room, there was a bottle of wine, a birthday note an a picture of our family waiting for them! they were so emotional and speechless, Thank you dear hotel staff! Other than that, the room with the terrace is unbelievable, the hotel area is centrally located and close to all the main attraction Madrid has to offer. highly recommended!

I visited the hotel in April 2023. The hotel facility was really nice until I discovered ants everywhere in my room. We booked 2 room, one next to the other bc my husband and I wanted to stay next to our children. That could not be possible bc they moved us to another room. So I had to sleep with my daughter and my husband stayed with my son in a different room. We also discovered some ants in my husband room 2 days after that….. For the price that you pay, you shouldn’t be experiencing this.

A wonderful stay in a great location. The hotel and the staff were excellent. The room was spacious and clean. A enjoyable experience. Would recommend to family and friends. Thank you.
