The staff was really good with us. We got a room upgrade because we booked with Expedia VIP. We arrived at the hotel at seven in the morning, the staff offered complimentary breakfast and an early checking in. The hotel location is the best, you are really at the center of everything there is to do in Madrid, you can walk to almost every tourist attraction. The room was very clean and spacious, very comfortable. Great place for a family trip.

We were pleasantly surprised by the property as we booked based on Expedia reviews. The hotel was larger in person than it appears in the pictures and absolutely beautiful. The rooms were fresh, clean and comfortable with enough storage for our family of four for luggage and hanging clothes. The real surprise was breakfast- spectacular!! This is not a typical breakfast buffet…fresh squeezed juices, dozens of different baked goods, meats, cheeses, eggs prepared 3 different ways and the list goes on. The service at the front desk and breakfast were wonderful as well.

This hotel was perfect for our family. First, the most important feature for me is location location location. This place was truly central. Short walk to all attractions. We walked everywhere, even to locations to meet up for tours. Only time we didn't walk was a cab to the train station to Segovia. Second, also important for me is cleanliness and comfort. Everything was cleaned to perfection. Both within our room & all areas of the hotel. The workers were always working to keep everything clean. The rooms were also well soundproofed. I knew the hotel was full, yet I could not hear my neighbors, no noise from people upstairs, and once the balcony door closed, it shut out outside noise. Room temp was always perfect. I sometimes have trouble with other hotels being too cold or stuffy. I didn't touch the thermo once & it was perfectly comfortable always. Everything we needed was there in our room: toiletries, safe, coffee station, clean large towels, robes, etc. Also, great shower! We had a quad & it was plenty of room for 2 adults/2 teens.Third, excellent service all around. Everyone from front desk to housecleaning to breakfast room was friendly & always willing to be of service. Breakfast room was relaxing, spacious, clean with great options for all. How this hotel is a three star hotel beats me. We stayed at two other hotels during our trip, both 4 stars both inferior in every way. Hotel Regina is truly a gem. So happy I booked here.

Our flight was delayed so I had to inform the hotel we would be arriving a day late. I received a prompt email reply from Marta confirming that would not be a problem and that our room would be retained. On arrival Suzanna at the check in desk took us up to our room and showed us around - a nice touch. There was a fantastic breakfast selection hot & cold to suit all tastes. Another nice touch was Mickey Mouse plates and bowls for children to use. All the staff were friendly and helpful and always acknowledged you as you came and went. All in all a lovely place to stay in a good position to visit all the sights that Madrid has to offer.

This hotel is amazing!!! We absolutely loved it! We are family of four with two teenagers and stayed 3 nights. First, the staff was amazing! Polite, helpful, going above and beyond. The hotel is super clean. The location could not be any better. Walking distance to everything. Breakfast was excellent. They had everything you need for a continental breakfast. We all left fully satisfied. My boys used the gym. They enjoyed it. Small but who cares? No one was there. We only ate dessert at the restaurant which was delicious! Restaurant is pretty and inviting and you get discount with Expedia VIP. We had a city view room which was amazing! One night a violinist and cellist were propped right under our window on the sidewalk. We had the balcony (not a true walking balcony) doors open and could hear the beautiful music while resting on the bed! It felt like a movie! My only negative is that the room was a bit tight with my two boys. My husband and I had 2 twin beds pushed together and the boys each had a pull out sofa bed. With those two beds open the room definitely got tight. But manageable. With one sofa bed closed it would definitely make a huge difference. And the other thing my family wasn’t keen on was the half frosted glass door for the bathroom. A bit of lack of privacy. But the shower was amazing! Very large, pretty with rain shower. Amenities in room were excellent. They offered hairdryer and even a curling iron! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

The hotel and staff were lovely. I wish some of their guests were. On the night on Dec 12, someone allowed to have their toddler have a tantrum in the hallway. This went on for about 12-13 minutes. Otherwise the facilities were great. Thank your.
