Yurbban Ramblas Boutique Hotel

My wife and 3 young kids were greeted by Ramon and Leo with warmth and friendliness like we’d stayed many times before. las Ramblas was under construction which was not ideal but their hospitality, and the hotel, including the calming escape of the roof top was hard to beat. Highly recommended.

Excellent one night stay in family adjoined rooms. Alexsandra went above and beyond to accommodate an early check in for us. Fun location, great staff and happy hour. Would def recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay, the room was fantastic, having 2 next to each other, but feeling separate by the small corridor and secure door was really great, our 12 year old felt grown up in his own room but secure next to us. Much better than having a small bed in the same large room as so many hotels do. The whole place was decorated in a modern way with black and white being the main theme throughout, looked really modern and a great place to stay. The female receptionists that welcomed us the first few days were absolutely fantastic. Ready to answer any questions and giving us some great money saving ideas like the family metro ticket. We only had breakfast in the hotel and went out and about every day exploring Barcelona. The breakfast was good but could be a little more expansive, it was a quiet time of year being the first week of January and everything seemed minimal, having to ask a lot for things as they would run out. Wouldn’t hurt to have a little more selection each day. It was always the same, Salami x 3 same types, Cheese x 3 same types, fresh fruit sliced x3 same fruit, kilner jars of cereal that I never trust how old they are, are they emptied and cleaned or just topped up on old stuff upon of old stuff. Frozen bloomer bread one morning. If they added a little more selection and differences each morning it would be great. Caterering for all types of diets is tough but they could try a little harder. BUT don’t let this put you off staying here,it was amazing

We had a group of four of us who stayed here recently for just one night - night before cruise. The room was ready on arrival which was pretty early around 1:30 pm. Wonderful location in the La Rambla area. The staff on was very friendly and helpful. We booked a family room, it was so nice to have basically two rooms to go back and forth between without having to go out in the main hallway. Room & bed were very comfortable. We did eat dinner in the restaurant downstairs, very convenient. All kinds of places within walking distance. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again in the future.

It’s rated “exceptional”. My rating is “poor”. Location is good. Renovated. Rooms, rooms what makes it disgusting. It’s “crawl in” rooms with low ceilings and so super tiny you have to literally step onto bed from the front door. They fitted 2 kids chairs which makes it even worse. No window. I mean there is a small, covered, non opening window behind the bed overlooking the wall. Absolute paradise for claustrophobic people. The worse of all - they intensely spray with strong odour, and this didn’t let me sleep the first night. I asked not to clean the room and the smell disappeared, just to get replaced with the real smell of some sort of “technical” substances, which apparently they try to mask. Over few days of our stay the smell made both of us nauseous. I suspect the materials which were used for updating the room: wall panels or else contained poisonous materials and inhaling fumes causing person to be unwell. As soon as we’d leave our room for a walk or anywhere outside - nausea would disappear. So talking about “eco friendly bla bla” is a joke. Not only not eco friendly, but people health harming.

A very discrete frontice lead us into a gem of a small hotel on Las Ramblas. Given the opportunity, we and family would happily stay there again.

Turbban Ramblas was a fantastic hotel - location, cleanliness, modern…everything. We had a family of 4 and our room had 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. The location was super convenient and super close to lots of buses and metro that pretty much got us to anywhere we wanted.
