Citadines Bay City Manila

Although our stay was short lived it was one of the best by far. Apart from the amazing modern rooms, plentiful amenities and great breakfast buffet the staff is what really sets this hotel off from the others. The guards and front of house staff were always attentive and very welcoming whenever we had left or came back from our excursions. I’ll always recommend this hotel to all friends and family visiting manila and anyone who is thinking about booking this hotel. I’d also like to give a very special shoutout to Rich who was not only amazing but was caring and very attentive to my family, he went above and beyond to always make sure we were well taken care of and that we were comfortable throughout our stay he even went further by extending our check out time to 2PM free of charge when we had told him our flight was not until 7PM and even offered to hold our luggages if we wanted to roam around before leaving for the airport. I can’t recommend this hotel and its staff enough if you are ever looking for a hotel in Pasay City please give Citadines a chance you won’t regret it!!!!

The good: It does have a supermarket next door with several restaurants so that was nice. The lobby is really nice too with a good restaurant and live music. Its a little far to MOA to walk for some but a taxi ride is only 100-150php ($2). The staff was mostly nice and friendly....but I have stayed at 15 other hotels and they all had the same nice friendly attitudes with very few individual exceptions. The Bad: Dryer in room burned our clothes. Ruined at least 7 items. It also overflowed all over the kitchen. They tell you to scan a code for instructions....but it is just slightly better label explanations with no instructions. I don't know why they call them instructions....have they even looked at it? Was told I could have a courtesy checkout for 2pm and told to come back on Day I was leaving to try for later because of kids and late flight. Instead was told no courtesy checkout on day of departure. (Citadine Makati on the other hand was very helpful.) There were all kinds of crumbs on the couch as well.

This hotel is superb. They exceeded my expectations. It was our nth times to stay with them and I can say my family feels really at home, from front desk, dining, room service, security, laundry, every department serves us excellently ... what more can I ask for? May free rooms someday. Hahaha... we are sure to be back for another staycation with my family and friends... if we love the stay, the kids love it too.

We are so pleased with the Citadines Bay City Manila hotel staff and their excellent service. For the room upgrade for free, the cleanliness, and overall superb accommodation to me and mg family, thank you so much. We highly recommend this hotel for a great stay in Manila. Their reception desk was very friendly and accommodating. They upgraded our room which was huge! Our bathroom has the best showers. Our room was equipped with washing machine/dryer which come handy. Their restaurant downstairs serves good food and excellent staff service. We’ll come back again here to stay.

Wish we could've stayed here for longer. We really didn't know what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised to see how clean and spacious our room was. We even had a view of the Bay, which was nice! The breakfast buffet was yummy and the staff at the hotel was amazing! Everyone was so quick to help and very kind. We checked in at around 1:30AM due to travel delays. After we ate breakfast, we walked outside for a bit and were grateful to realize how close we were to a shopping center and the pharmacy. We immediately told our family members to stay there when they visit the Philippines.

Booked two rooms here and found staff to be not properly trained (lacking professionalism). Also property (rooms, hallways, & furniture) is rundown and ambiance is not family-friendly. A must-avoid.
