A Train Hotel

Great location in walking distance from central station and other attractions - 45 mins walk to Van Gogh museum, 20 mins walk to Anne Frank. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Stayed in apartment room - plenty of space for family with 2 adult size teenagers!

Our family of 5 loved our short stay at the A Train Hotel! The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating and will go out of their way to meet your needs. The breakfast was lovely and a nice variety. We loved the coffee/hot chocolate machine. The room was clean and comfortable. Very central location. Highly recommend!

The A train hotel is centrally located and very easy to get to from the airport. We booked the family room and I was expecting a squishy room with four beds, but it was a great apartment very well equipped for my high energy, playful kids. The staff were very friendly and helpful and my kids loved the breakfast. The only thing to note is that despite letting the hotel know our arrival time the rooms were still only ready at the check-in time (3pm, I think), this did not worry us since we could leave our bags in their luggage room and start exploring, but some travellers may have other expectations. We stayed only one night and I did wish that I had been able to stay a little longer, the A-train was an excellent base for exploring Amsterdam.
