Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort - All Inclusive

Our family of 4 had an amazing time at the resort! We tried out almost all the restaurants and they enjoyed the kids waterpark. The staff and service was amazing and attentive. We definitely recommend Dreams Playa Mujeres for other families looking for an all-inclusive resort. We didn’t have to worry about anything!!!

I went to Cancun 4 times and This is my least satisfied trip. I’m surprised by the service in this hotel. I booked 2 king bed rooms but I was offered by 2 double queen bed rooms when I arrive. Finally I got 1 king and 1 double bed room after negotiation. Staffs are not bad but many of them looks unhappy with a poker face. Many times I got answer “I don’t know” or different answers when I ask staffs questions about the hotel. I met a staff worked at mini golf on my first day. We talked for 5mins and I tipped him $3 usd. He was angry and asked “ what’s for!” With a very bad attitude and strong tone. Also a reminder to family who has kid under 3 years old. The hotel has kid playground and indoor playroom. But only opened to 3 yrs .

Upon we arrived in the suite, there was only 1 glass and 1 cup at the bar and 1 glass in the washroom. No robes. we notified the front desk rep. he said they will sent the items. First only cups received no glasses, then later 2 child robes were delivered. Eventually adult robes were delivered but the other robes were still there. No glasses. We eventually asked the room attendant next day for the glasses. At dinner time I put all my valuables in the safe but could not lock it because the locking bolts were protruding and could not be locked. I then removed everything from the safe and took them with me to dinner because i was told that I had to be in the room for them to unlock the safe, so we di it after dinner. Waste of time. The phone in the room was very difficult to use. the handset did not work, the speaker phone had to be used to make calls and after could not disengage the phone. No indication on the phone that there were messages. Lack of signage for: direction to Lobby from elevator, location of shuttle to Secrets Resort. Staff at Lobby and concierges desks give different replies to question s which was very frustrating, how to get and print Boarding Passes, Location of shuttle pickup area, how the wi-fi work. Hibachi restaurant only opened 4 days a week and completely booked for our stay. Access for the remaining restaurants were either partially opened or very long wait. We were not to happy.

Beautiful resort with plenty of stuff for the whole family to do from young kids, teens, and adults. Beds were a little uncomfortable but everything else was great. Some restaurants were better than others but plenty of options.

Loved it! The 7 & 8 year old had the best time. Best kid friendly family resort.

My son and I went on a father/son trip for his Fall Break, he is 8yrs old. I highly recommend this resort for families, couple's and solo travel. The resort was immaculate you will not be disappointed. The resort had 24hr Ice Cream at Dolce. The restaurants were never crowded, great drinks poolside. If you’re looking to go into Cancun proper, it will take you 45 minutes. The resort is not to be missed. You won’t be disappointed.

Cons The check in was a little lackluster. No true line area and you had to keep checking back. I didn’t feel like I was a truly welcomed guest either. Also staff would not say hello or greet as other resorts would. I always spoke first. Our room was on the main floor so we heard the outdoor entertainment as well as anyone turning the corner from the check in/lobby area. Lastly, since the resort is so large, there should be better signage. Yea I know there is an app, but simple signs elevated could work as well. Pros The beaches were beautiful and clean. The rooms were large and bathrooms were amazing. The kiddie pools were great for my daughter and there was plenty of space between families. Food was pretty good. Overall it was a nice resort.

Great place to take the family for a vacation. Modern, a lot of amenities that cater to kids.

We booked this resort based on the recommendation of a couple family friend who’s stayed here prior to Covid. We were very disappointed in the staff and the food. Actually we had 2 instants with the staff speaking negatively in Spanish about my 2 year old son. They thought we couldn’t understand them but my husband speaks Spanish. The dining options also weren’t good at all. Disappointed in the food. The pool areas are nice and the kids slides and water park is also a cute area we enjoyed. The beach was okay but had a lot of seaweed compared to other resorts we’ve stayed out. As frequent Cancun visitors I wouldn’t recommend this place there are far better resorts especially with this one being on the higher end price wise.
