Hotel Plaza Revolución

I was not even going to write a review but our last night was the last drop taking this hotel experience from mediocre to outright terrible, so here it is. First the are around the hotel is pretty bad at night. Just a corner up from the hotel, there are "night workers" standing around from quite early in the evening so definitely not recommended if coming with kids. Second the service is basically non existent. Was not asked how was the stay upon checkout, and on a couple of occasions arrived in an Uber while raining and there was no one at the door to bring us in under an umbrella, The worst part was that we got the door to our room opened twice. First by a cleaning lady who did not even knock, second, and worst was the last night. First someone was trying to open our door at 3am. I told them to go away through the door. a few minutes later, the door got opened by a hotel staff accompanied with a guest. They just said sorry and left. I assume they wrongfully assigned our occupied room to another guest. I was expecting at least a sorry from them upon check out a couple of hours later, but nothing. I've been to many small hotels around the world. This is by far the worst experience I've had.
