I booked 2 rooms beginning of the year (February) for an October sta. we waited more then 30min just so someone could check us in. We witnessed 3 employees fighting amongst themselves about leaving work early. Then when we finally got to check in my family was split between 2 levels. My elderly in-laws were put on the 10th floor and we were put on the 11th floor and during our stay the quake alarms went off and they had to go down 12 flights of stairs to get to a safe area. There was no apologies given for the inconvenience of being split up. No comps given nothing!!! it’s not right given I booked way in advance. They excuse given was the hotel was completely booked but the lady before us was upgraded to a bigger room. This was VERY upsetting needless to say given our situation. The towels were stained and my bathroom air vent did not work and there was no mini fridge. The only saving grace this hotel has was the restaurant manager Hernan and the server Felix. They took really good care of us and we’re very attentive. Sarai was the hotel cleaning lady and she was very detailed in cleaning our room. Although these 3 people helped make our stay better we will not be returning due to receptions unprofessionalism and inconsideration.

It's family oriented. A good place to just rest after a day of walking the pyramids. No alcohol in the hotel and frown on loud music. There is a bar across the street though. The view and distance to Teotihuacan is a Super Plus!

Our stay at Casa Blanca Hotel was excellent! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The location is near many points of interest in Mexico City, which is so convenient. The closest was the Revolution Monument which is a must see. I would recommend this property to family and friends.

This property is a nice alternative to the many American chain hotels in the same general area on or near Paseo La Reforma. Because it was cheaper, we got a two room family suite for the same price as the Hiltons and Marriotts wanted for a normal room. Some of the common areas were dated, but the room was updated and the hotel is clean. Pretty central location too. Use the buses!

I try to be as fair as possible with my reviews…so here goes my opinion regarding Hotel Casa Blanca. Pros and Cons Pros: •Friendly staff…from the person who helped us with our bags, reception, cleaning crew, restaurant workers, and bartender Raful…great great service. • It’s located about a mile to zocalo and there are several restaurants near by. • the pool is heated. • the terrace bar is relaxing, and Bartender Raful serves refreshing drinks. Good place to relax with family and friends. • hotel can help you with taxis or transportation to airport. • wifi worked great, my son was able to do school work with no issues. Netflix and YouTube worked flawlessly. •Several power outlets in room. • Decent size rooms CONS: •Like many people in other reviews have stated, the hotel is dated. I’m sure back in the 70s and 80s it was luxurious. But…the rooms and the hotel were CLEAN! And the rooms were updated. •Beds were a little on the stiff side …too firm. If management reads this, please up grade the beds. • If you are a light sleeper, take into consideration that the windows are thin and you can hear everything going on outside. Would I recommend this hotel…mmm…if you got a good deal on price yes. Regular price probably not. First time travelers to Mexico City I would recommend something closer to Zocalo. Please check out my other reviews for recommendations if visiting beautiful Mexico City.

I book the family room. Large and comfortable. The staff was friendly and kind. Restaurant was reasonable with great food. The rooftop pool was perfect for unwinding at night.
