Hotel Gumont

The staff at Hotel Gumont was so friendly and welcoming. They made us feel very taken care of and always treated us great! The buffet breakfast was excellent and we looked forward to this every morning. I would definitely come back here with my family again.

We were traveling with our 1 year old baby and he got sick after showering at this hotel. We think our baby must have swallowed some of the water while showering and it caused him a stomach viral infection. Our room looked like it was now vacuumed and the bathroom smelled like sewer. We also noticed the water in the bathroom had a slight yellow color to it. We then asked for extra pillows that night and they never arrived. We had reserved 4 nights but left after the first night and asked for a refund. One last thing, the place is next to an abandoned property and it's very unappealing when looking out the window from your room as you can see homeless people living in the abandoned building. I don't recommend you stay here if you are traveling with your family.

Breakfast buffet was amazing! The staff was very friendly and always accommodating. Complimentary valet was great as well. Room was small but had everything you need. Unfortunately, the beds are anchored and you can’t move them. They’re about 3 feet off the ground and at one point my toddler fell off the bed during his sleep. A fridge and microwave in the rooms would be very helpful specially when traveling with toddlers. Shower was so nice as the water had great pressure. Only other thing that I would’ve liked would be a balcony to hang clothes to dry. Overall very pleased.
