Holiday Inn Select - Guadalajara, an IHG Hotel

I check in room stink real bad I put the key to turn on the a/c so the small go away next day I go out come back key is not there fine my last day I was in the bathroom my doughther in bed someone get get in the room a men and girl saying sorry the give us this room but the people look very scare and run out my doughther was crying how someone get in you room 1 am is not right I don’t recommend this to none I stay here becuse hotel Riu across the street was full please every one don’t risk your family life on this place spend the. More dollars and get a real good service and you don’t have to go true my experience

I made a reservation one month and a half ago, I communicate through expedia that I will arrive late because my flight was delayed, expedia respond the message saying that everything was good. But when I arrived the hotel at midnight my reservation had been canceled by a manager at the hotel because they couldn't charge my credit card during the afternoon. The lady at the reception desk was a truly angel, she fixed everything and got a room for my family. Expedia, you should make better your clients communication through your channels.

Since we arrived first the receptionist lied to me because I asked if in my floor there was a room with bathtub and she told me NO, the rooms with that are on floor 2,and it was a total lie. Then when we arrived to the room the blanquets were DIRTY, then we asked them to change. The room also was not the size I reserved for, it was so tiny that there was even not space for the cradle of my babies. In the night the air conditioning was not working, we called at 12 am and maintenance arrived until 12:40 with my 2 babies sweating, they couldn’t even sleep. When the man verify the air, he saw that it was not working ok and the answer was only that maybe we can change the room the next day. The shower room also was not working ok, just a few drops of water came out. Next day i saw an open room just next to ours, and effectively, the rooms were bigger, almost the double size, the size that I payed for and with bathtub!! Then we needed to change everything with our babies. We payed for an executive room, that included some amenities, but they just said that during the weekends they are not available, then the hotel must NOT OFFER that if it’s nos available everyday! Reception employees were not helpful not even friendly. The only kind people in there are the cleaning and security people, besides that it was SO DISAPPOINTING OUR STADY in there.

Pathetic service. Just because the city had a concert, they cancelled our reservation without calling / texting me. I came to know that the reservation was cancelled when I went to the hotel late in the night with my family. We literally slept in our car because there were no rooms available for that day in any of the near by hotels.
