Hotel Mesaluna Near American Consulate

My stay at this hotel was great. It is one of the closest hotels to the consulate and a five minute walk to CMI. The hotel has helpful and friendly staff. The facility is very clean and the rooms are cleaned daily. My visit to the consulate was longer then expected and the front desk made it really easy to continue my stay and pay day by day for as long as I needed. There's also a pool and a small video game room. I traveled with my wife and kid and always felt safe. Highly recommend this hotel.

I enjoyed my stay, and staff was very kind and welcoming. All my needs were met. I traveled alone, but this place is definitely kid friendly and would great for a family stay as well. Complementary breakfast was delicious and offered different food every morning. There’s plenty of shopping and food options walking distance.

Location: in close proximity to US consulate and CAS. Located in a corner of a very busy intersection difficult to cross the street specially with children. Hotel room: Not very clean. Looked like it hadn’t been swept or properly mopped in months. Room service sprayed the floor with some cleaner n then dried it with a dry mop. Most stains remained n didn’t feel any cleaner. Restroom and the rest of the room I’m sure is not properly cleaned. We didn’t feel comfortable putting our babies things down with out cleaning the surface first. Breakfast: was ok they have a few selections like chilaquiles, eggs, beans (traditional Mexican y) and coffee and juice. Amenities: Laundry is near the pool & $150 pesos and you need to reserve a time slot at the reception where they give you coins for the machine. They had a small arcade room as well they also had a courtesy van for errands
