I rarely post any negative reviews but my stay at the Royal Park Canvas Ginza 8 was a horrible experience. The staff at the hotel gave us a room at the specified check- in time. After a long travel day with a young child and we have finally settled in the room (luggage opened, clothes out/hung), the hotel staff came by a few times without telling us what was wrong. Finally they told us that they gave us the wrong room and asked us to move!!! I was really upset about the situation but decided not to make a scene, and agreed to move. We had to repack our luggage, move them all the way to the new room, and at the same time, need to manage a rather tired & cranky toddler! The manager never came to apologize nor the hotel did anything for the huge inconvenience that they have caused my family. The setup of the new room was also an odd one with the sink right next to the bed and the shower and washroom in a separate area. This reminded me of university dorms. Other than the location was super convenient to the main streets and food, the experience at the hotel was horrible.

Nice safe clean hotel near the center of everything. I like the mattress which gives me a good back support to allow me sleep well at night. My trouble was that I couldn’t find the button to turn off the lower level lights along entrance area. I’m very sensitive to the light so I need to be able to turn off all lights before I go to sleep. Another thing is I wish the bathroom has a curtain or blurred glass for shower so that another family member could use the restroom at the same time without feeling embarrassed. Thanks.

The location of the hotel is right in the middle of Ginza and is so convenient to move around. Ok for family with their gym, laundry area and area where you can microwave your food and prep. Usual room size in Ginza. The AC is just a bit warm for us even after adjustment, but overall our stay is good. Convenience store is right across and G6 is just a stone throw away. The staffs are also very accomodating.

We loved the hotel, especially the common lounge area, and the restaurant with fantastic breakfasts, as well as the bar and free drink vouchers provided. The location is also fantastic. Our only downside was that we booked for four people, kids aged 12 & 15, and we were told we were given the biggest room available which had 3 single beds, it was too small for us. We were also then only given three breakfast vouchers per day because we had a 3 bed room. It was like our second child did not exist.

I was little disappointed how the staff handled my issue. We stayed in 4 different cities and I purchased the hotels exactly the same 3 adults and 1 child. In all of the other hotels there was 4 beds. When we checked in at Royal Park we walked in the room and there were only 3 beds. I went to talk to the receptionist and said that there was a mistake and the receptionist said that kids are free, but I mentioned that if they are free were are they going to sleep and she kept saying that I didn’t pay for my child. I asked to pay in order to get a bed for my kid and she said that there were no rooms for 4 people. I asked for 2 rooms in order to accommodate all four of us and she said that there were no rooms left. The hotel did not come up with any ideas of how to solve the problem. I ended up sleeping with my 11 year old in a twin bed for 3 days. My frustration was that I was willing to pay for another room, I was willing to have my kid sleep on the floor or I was even willing to even connect to twin beds with they had provided comforters or blankets and king sheets to minimize the gap in between beds, the the hotels didn’t care for either of my options.

Traveling with a family of 5, two rooms were perfect for our size. Bedding, shower & tub room, overall layout, comfort, all of this are excellent. Even in the heart of the shopping and dinning district of Ginza, with the myriad of wonderful restaurants, coffee shops, and stores, we all had excellent sleep without noise or distractions. The hotel is modern, quaint, very well-appointed, and delightful for just lounging around - the second floor lounge is cozy and inviting - and for exploring not only Ginza but greater Tokyo, with plentiful of transportation options (Uber Black and Uber Vans are everywhere, as well as taxis and buses, and the amazing train system). The restaurant - Opus - does great breakfast (didn't get a chance to do dinner). Convenience stores area plentiful - and truly amazing. In summary, my highest recommendation for a truly outstanding stay in Tokyo.

This place was gorgeous. We got the corner room for a family of 4 and it was pretty spacious for a hotspot in Tokyo. The property was beautiful and right off a main road so it was easy to find and within walking distance to food. The breakfast was good but limited set meals so for the light or picky eaters not the best option for a meal. They had the most beautiful grey dessert that was a perfect nightcap dessert. I highly recommend this place for a multi night stay with family.

perfect location in a very high end area. Very close proximty to the ginza and o shimbashi station to get around the city quickly. 7/11 2 minute walk and literally next door is a family mart equivalent to 7/11. staff was super helpful, facilty was very clean, washer/dryer onsite was a plus. excellent stay for first time to japan. room size was enough for my wife, I and our 13 yr old as they had 3 beds, sitting chair.. only down side no iron or ironing board other than that loved it would stay again

Stayed with the family for five nights. Great location. Walking to Ginza station which links to Tokyo central for Shinkansen and airport, shibuya, asakusa and ueno easily. Great area with high end shopping (not my thing but the architecture is great). Great longe area. Convenience store across the street. Friendly and helpful staff. This one is a winner.
