Miyako City Kintetsu Kyoto Station

The property was conveniently located in the same building as the Kyoto train station and made it easy for families traveling to the city for the first time. The breakfast was delicious and staff were so nice.

The best parts about my hotel room? really strong shower - my expensive Rome room had a really pathetic one warm toilet seats - 👍 kettle - you’ll be surprised how many places don’t have one or one that’s as powerful and keeps warm buckwheat pillow - very firm but oddly comfy good spread at breakfast housekeeping is very thorough and clean - this is something you can’t take for grant bad parts? Well language is still a challenge, I know they are trying but it was not easy especially when I wanted a ride to the airport with a proper infant seat I’m ok with the sound from the trains and it’s really soft, lulled me to sleep actually but some might be very particular all in all, good value for the price I paid a few months back a solid 8/10 or more

We booked a room for 3 people (2 adults, 1 child), the room only has 2 beds that are smaller than a double bed so two of us had to share a bed. The sleeping arrangement was extremely uncomfortable and resulted in sleep deprivation. Understandably the mattresses in Japan are hard but in this hotel the mattresses were extremely hard. Back pain and tiredness during our stay at Kyoto. Also very small room which was a minor thing. Positive side, close to the JR line.
