Hotel Vischio Kyoto by GRANVIA 

New hotel room design. Shopping malls around. Near train station. Mine is big twin bedroom at high floor. Feel spacious and clean. Mattress is comfortable, not too soft. Must try hotel breakfast buffet, specially for kids and elderly. Will come back again.

Hotel was so convenient-across the street from Kyoto Station and walking distance from many shopping and dining options. Kyoto Aquarium was also a quick walk. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds and pillows were top notch-everyone in my family thought so and we usually disagree on bedding and pillows. The buffet breakfast was amazing, including a full western and traditional Japanese offering. Well worth upgrading room package to enjoy the buffet every day.

Hotel was clean and modern. The rooms were a little bit small for a family of three compared to the hotels we stayed in Osaka and Tokyo but the location of this hotel was the best by far. It was right across from Kyoto station and central to everything. There is a small mall across the road and a larger nicer mall just down the street plus many food options in Kyoto station and only a 30/40 minute walk to the other popular areas. Very convenient to get everywhere via public transport also being so close to the station with multiple lines available. We didn’t use the gym or baths but the facilities looked nice. The laundry facilities weren’t great being they were washer dryer combos that didn’t dry clothes well but that’s not a deal breaker! They also had great massage chairs.

Our family including 3 children loved our stay at Hotel Vischio Kyoto. Very hospitable staff, amazing location, great food options including their very elaborate breakfast buffet at the hotel itself. The Kyoto train station is only 2-3 mins which is very convenient to get to many locations. The station also offers many food options. The hotel has pools, massage chairs, laundromat, and more. The rooms are very nice and clean. Overall, an excellent experience for the family. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again!

The size of the room was perfect for a family of four. Buffet breakfast is a must, definitely worth including. Short walk to station and shops

The family room (4 beds) is excellent, a great size, and the hotel looks luxurious but is very reasonably priced. The location was perfect, just 2 minutes from the Shinkansen train station, only 30 seconds to the bus to Osaka airport, and 2 stops on the underground train to the main shopping and eating area. Extremely happy with this hotel all round.

Great location! Room was spacious for family of 3. Coffee bar downstairs was a nice little perk. Small gym and nice public bath. Would highly recommend.

Nice hotel which is close to Kyoto station. A good choice if you decide to stay near Kyoto station or 8th street. Staff are helpful and the family room which can accommodate four persons is excellent.
