Hotel rooms are large enough for a family with kids, with plenty of spare space. The hotel itself is right across the Kyoto railway station, which has a large underground shopping/dining mall. The shopping center has an exit almost right in front of the hotel. This hotel is at a very convenient location.

We are a family of 4 people and stayed at the hotels in 2 rooms for 4 nights . Every thing was awesome about the hotel . Location wise , the hotel is unbeatable as it is on the opposition side of the Kyoto train station which has a bus terminal with the buses that can almost take you anywhere in the city . The breakfast buffet included was also great and it always has something for every one . All in all , it feels like home away from home .

Very helpful staff. Located opposite the Kyoto train station, the no.5 bus stops right out the front (perfect for getting to Nishiki Market, shopping centres and Gion). We got the Japanesque Room with the tatami and futon, perfect for eating and the kids playing. The hotel is kind of old, but that made it cool, it wasn’t as westernised and sterile like other hotels we’ve stayed it. Would stay again.
