Hotel Calimala

An extremely nice hotel! The location was perfect - close to everything. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Modern amenities with old world charm. I loved the tile work throughout the hotel. Very good breakfast. And the rooftop deck is amazing! Great food, but perfect for drinks and seeing the city from above. I traveled with my wife and two younger kids and we couldn’t have been happier.

I will come back to Florence just to stay at this hotel. The staff is the absolute best, they feel like family!! Bruno, Rafael, Desire, Lorenzo, Valeria and Chef Ela are all WONDERFUL!!!! Make sure not to miss eating at Meze, it’s exceptional. Location is perfect, in the center of everything and a 3 minute walk to the water. 10 out of 10!!!

Exceptional cleanliness. Beautiful rooms. Kind, friendly service. The hotel is right in the middle of everything you want to see in Florence. Our family of 4 was able to easily walk to the train station, and all of the major attractions. The hotel is surrounded by amazing restaurants.

The staff is the best in class! My family felt very welcomed during our stay. Everything about this hotel is phenomenal.

We stayed 4/12-4/14 and from the moment we arrived we were treated very well. We arrived early and we were able to checkin early. The room was a nice size for European standards. The room was decorated with a cross between Old World and modern style. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The rooftop breakfast was lovely. All the hotel staff were very friendly, professional, very attentive and helpful. An extra thank you to Daniele for going above and beyond with being helpful in helping me deal with a credit card challenge. The location was excellent, easily walk to all the main sites. I would definitely recommend Hotel Calimala to my family and friends!

This hotel was EXCELLENT!!! The location was perfect, dining around the area was great and hotel was pristine! But what made it even more enjoyable was the staff who were not only knowledgeable and helpful but were so pleasant and eager to help! Mario and Lorenzo in particular was so helpful to my family with GREAT restaurant recommendations and easy directions to all attractions. Highly recommend this hotel!!!
