Hotel Berchielli

We traveled as a family and the hotel honored our request to stay near each other. The rooms overlooked the Arno River as requested and they were lovely and clean and the view was absolutely perfect. The staff was friendly and responsive. The included breakfast was delicious and the hotel was beautiful on the interior. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. I recommend it.

We stayed here for 4 nights in Florence and had a fantastic experience at this hotel. We were able to check into our room within 1hour of our arrival, so we just went to have lunch and came back and room was ready. They upgraded us to a river view and it was great. This is probably the biggest hotel room we have had at any hotel in Europe. The location is perfect and we could see the Ponte Vecchio from our window. Everything was walkable and hotel is definitely first rate. I would not hesitate to recommend this to all our family and friends. The value for the price was excellent.

The location is perfect to be able to walk to everything! The only two things we had an issue with were the lack of WiFi in our room (we had to sit it the hallway to connect with tours, airlines, and family) and our bathtub plug didn’t work so no baths. The shower was nice though.

One of my favorite hotel. I had two rooms, one for my 19 year old twin boys and the other one was a double right next door. My room was small and the shower did not have curtain. They put us there because that was the only room available next to my kids. Once we told them that it was ok to be on different floor, they moved us to a loft terrace room - a fantastic room. Besides that, the best part about the hotel is that the people are all so nice. Whatever you ask them they bring it to you right away. They arranged our driver and they had great recommendation for restaurants. I used to worked in Italy 20 years ago and always stayed at the Berchielli, some of the people are still there and the service is just as I remembered, courteous and knowledgeable.
