Property was stunning! Beach was beautiful. The restaurant amd bar was fabulous. Staff couldnt have been better. Not a golfer but from what I saw this is a spectacular golf course. Very upscale area. The only complaint I might have is the water in our shower was scalding hot and hard to regulate. Had yo have mgt. come to our romm twice. Still every time we turned it on it was scalding hot. The views are amazing. I would highly reccomend this hotel for families as well. I would most definitely stay here again. Rayes ate reasonable as well. Thank you for the wonderful accomodations

We loved the beautiful trails, garden and walking to the beach. The food was excellent and we loved eating the Irish breakfast. Our room was a little dirty-our chair had crumbs and the shower had some hair. Nevertheless, our bed was comfortable and we felt comfortable and safe. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends and family.

Clean and comfortable rooms. The bed was so comfy, I slept like a baby. Beautiful location next to the beach. Stunning sea views. Great atmosphere in the bar. Delicious food. Friendly staff. What’s not to like.

A night away without kids and with no need for a pool we went for the Portmarnock. Hotel is lovely and most staff were excellent. But it only takes 1 person to spoil things. Front desk lady who refused to help us with a genuine error we had made, insisted the booking was written in stone ( yet somehow managed to give us a room that did not match the booking), was argumentative on check out when asked why we were the only ones in the queue not asked about if we enjoyed our stay, was combative when asked about policies. So much for making customers happy. Anyway, next time we will go to the Grand in Malahofe where the staff go the extra mile to make the experience good one. Indeed, the Portmarnock might want to send this last up there to see how its done properly

This was the perfect place to end our vacation. Stunning view, wonderful room, and great staff. The entire family agreeed this will be our hotel of choice the next time we go to dublin. DART is just a few minutes away, which makes it easy to get to the city center without paying for a taxi or driving there. Truely the perfect hotel

Beautiful junior suite with a view! spacious and comfortable.

Very noisy bedroom due to overlooking aircraft flying by. Room much too warm, no air con. Unable to leave windows open due to overhead noise. We ate in The Jameson bar and the meal was of very poor quality. Staff appeared very junior and in my opinion, they lacked customer experience.

I always stay here for one night prior to returning to Canada. It’s convenient given proximity to my family and to the airport but it always feels like coming home.l when I walk through the doors! The grounds are so beautiful and the hotel itself is very nicely appointed and comfortable with just the right amount of luxury. Looking forward to returning in February!
