Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport

The good: We had a family room with 3 beds, the room was a nice size and beds were comfortable, the staff was excellent. We arrived early, exhausted from an international flight and they got us in a room as soon as we got there. We also paid for our breakfast but then realized we had already paid for it with our room, the staff had no problem refunding our money. The bad: The room had no air conditioning and was uncomfortably warm, we all woke with sweat during the night. Our window, that barely opened, was above the dumpsters and the staff sorted glass bottles several times which was very loud.

We stayed here on our last night in Ireland. It was a perfect end to our vacation! We chose the Clayton Hotel because it was close to the airport and offered a free shuttle bus to and from the airport. Our family of 5 shared 2 rooms and they were very clean, comfortable and well-appointed. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Italian restaurant in the hotel. Since we had to leave very early for our departure flight, the front desk arranged for us to pickup a bagged breakfast to take on our way out. Would definitely recommend The Clayton for anyone looking to stay near the Dublin airport.

Two nights here prior to travel . Liked that this hotel had a shuttle service to the airport . It was quiet and wonderful for catch up rest prior to long international flights . There was, however, difficulty on our floor with luggage as a row of steps were required to traverse and descend to get to our room, but concierge was very helpful in the wee hours of our departure, bringing a trolley and assisting with the heavy lifting back up the stairs , down the lift and out to the shuttle bus. Another thing I didn’t like was the shower over a deep bath which climbing in and out of was not terribly easy for me but I managed for myself , however lifting the small grandchildren in and out was also not an easy task . Staff were lovely and All in all a mostly positive experience . Thank you !

Had a wonderful 1 night stay at the Clayton Dublin airport. The bar staff took great care of us. (10) As family members meet up for our final goodbyes. Had a wonderful dinner at the Italian restaurant all together. Our room was super clean and very comfortable. The shuttle to airport made our stay super convenient to get to the airport at 6:30 am

It was feels like hospital room to be very honest. I literally got the room number 600 hundred. It was for dis able person.paying on this hotel for me I lost my money in casino. In Glasgow I was in double tree it was almost $ 200 less than this hotel my kids had fun . Guys pls don’t waste your money to see beautiful pictures on the net . Realty is different.

Cleanliness was top notch. Bathtub drains needed repair and the room was very warm. We had the window open but t didn’t help with closed draped. Beds were very comfortable. A member of our family left his wallet in the shuttle and staff couldn’t have been nicer . It had already been returned to the hotel by the shuttle driver when we reported it!

The family rooms with three (3) beds was ideal for my group. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. The food quality and service was excellent. The only thing that I would cite is the parking…it’s very tight.

False fire alarm went off at 5am... Bedroom was exceptionally large, but beds consisted of a double bed designed for a single person (140cm width) and a single bed. Adequate for a single traveler, but would not recommend for couples or families. Staff & food excellent...

I was not happy with an incident, the front desk check in, tge agent assigned my family to an occupied room, opening the door a person junped out of the bed that was sleeping, it was so very embarassing, back at the front desk the manager liam assigned a new room for my family and a free breakfast, he was very good, but no monies refunded for the room. His staff needs to better work the checkin workflow to avoid.

The hotel was nice, rooms spacious and clean. Loved the fan. Didn't like kids playing ball in hall but that's not the hotels fault.
