We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn on both ends of our family vacation. The hotel is very clean, and right across from the waterfront. On our stay at the end of our vacation my son became very sick, and needed to go to emergency. Even though the hotel was fully booked for the next day the manager told us he would not kick us out if we needed to stay longer. He went over and above to help us.

I was traveling with a family group and we all loved the rooms and location of the hotel. It was very clean and quiet. Shelba was extremely helpful getting us into rooms a little early even though it was a Swifty concert weekend!

Great location along the river, about a 15 minute walk to O'Connell Street and Grafton. Wide selection of food in the breakfast buffet. My only complaint was that the bed was harder than I would like. But this is literally a NOTHING complaint as no one else in my family had trouble. :)

We found the hotel to be clean and spacious and all the staff that we came into contact with were friendly and helpful. There was no problem bringing sachets of decaff coffee to a couple of fussy brits at 10pm. The hotel is located on the edge of the city center and you can walk into town in about 15 - 20 mins. There's also a handy tram stop (George's Dock) at the back of the hotel for adventures further afield and buses stop out front. You don't really need a car here. Dublin Express can transfer you to/from the airport and the stop is 10mins from the hotel. We were on the first floor at the front of the hotel (river view) but I'd suggest being wary of paying extra for this because a) the view is not exactly stunning and b) we found the amount of noise coming from the road out front to be intrusive from as early as 6am until 11pm. If there are any shows on at the 3-Arena situated at the end of the wharf then you can reasonably expect even more noise. We only had a small breakfast on the first morning and realised straight away that the food and drink is bit pricey. Fortunately there are good cafes and restaurants within walking distance so have a look around and you will save a few euros, especially if you're a group or family. Generally speaking, we'd be happy to stay again if we were in Dublin.

Enjoyed that it was near the river. Was very annoyed that we had booked the family room for 4 ppl and we had to keep asking for 2 more towels because they only left 2 each time.

My family stayed in this hotel when we were attending a show in Dublin. We were so disappointed when we tried to get food and drink at 5pm on arrival. we were not allowed to order food and eat in the lobby as the restaurant was busy. There were areas of the bar/ restaurant not busy but set up for a party later in the evening. We were told we could go to our room and order room service. This was an outrageous suggestion. I had contacted the hotel to check we could have food in the hotel on our arrival. I was not told to book an area. Soo disappointing

all was great and I definitely recommend it except for parking was a little issue.. other than that its perfect it got even a washer dryer room on site which is great for big families that are staying longer in the city even with Miele appliances the only cons would be the breakfast is a bit chaotic and the parking isn't so friendly as its not onsite

I would recommend this property to anyone. Who is looking for a very nicely located hotel in the heart of dublin. Close to temple bar, walking distance to merrion park, trinity college, James Connelly statue, spire. Also if you book tours the location is close to most of the tour places. Also if you are looking for something sweet. This hotel is close to a perfect place. That my family went to twice or more in one week. The place is called Sweetest thing. So overall a very nice hotel with very nice staff, an breakfast, and nicely located for a lot of attractions that dublin offers
