Really comfortable family room. Everything about the hotel and its services were clearly explained as was how to get the bus into the city. We only ate breakfast so can only say that was excellent. Would stay there again. Bus stops were right outside the hotel. Onsite parking which was charged at 10 euros per night.

Excellent option and value near the Dublin airport but with more walkable dining options in the area. We stayed in the family room with three beds the night before our departure and it was a very good option for our family of four.

Great location. Room was a family room and great. Only issue was it was hot and we couldn’t keep curtains open to let air in cause there’s a very bright light shining in the room.

Thank you for a lovely stay. It was only one night, close to Dublin airport for my flight the next day. Lovely food options, also great restaurants just across the street. Staff extremely helpful. I always stay here, close to family and friends. Thanks again for a lovely stay, highly recommend.

We ended up getting stuck in Dublin due to missing a connecting flight. We booked a room for our family of 4 (kids were 11 and 16) while in transit. We luckily found this hotel room while in transit and it was perfect for our last minute needs. We stayed in the "family" room which had a queen bed and two twins - this is not something readily available in Dublin hotels (at least not at a reasonable cost). The hotel was not fancy, but it was clean, conveniently located, welcoming staff, good breakfast, but most of all it gave us enough space to sleep comfortably each in our own bed. If you are a family that wants a bit more freedom with sleeping arrangements without paying a ton this is a great place for a few days.

The property didn’t have air conditioning…our family had trouble sleeping as the room was very warm…the hallways were cooler

Frist time staying at the Skylon and it was wonderful. We had a family room with a double and two twin beds. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were friendly and helpful. We were headed to the airport the next and it worked out very well. We ate at Izumi across the road and a few drinks at Ivy House. Would absolutely stay again.

I booked this hotel for my partner and I, mostly thanks to its location. 10-15 minutes drive from the airport and a similar distance to the things we planned to do such as city centre/zoo etc... But my word it was a truly fantastic place, and I knew this before we even checked in! We sat in the lobby for about an hour before our room was ready which was totally fine as we were early anyway. I own a pub myself and so find myself watching and critiquing staff when I visit a new hotel/bar/resteraunt just out of habit. The reception staff were all so happy to be there at work and it shined through. Nothing seemed forced or faked, even the cleaning staff. I witnessed a gentlemen dressed in shirt and trousers whom I assume was part of the management, although I didn’t find out for sure. He grabbed a cloth and began to help the cleaning staff wipe over windows and glass. For me this said so much about the hotel! No job was to small for him to roll up his sleeves and Get stuck in! The work ethic that shows is the type of hotel I would love to stay at! Throughout our 4 night stay all the staff was so warm and friendly, no request was to difficult to meet! If I was to visit Dublin again I would book the skylon in a heartbeat! And I would highly insist the hotel to all my friends and family! It was a great weekend for my birthday!
