Hyatt Place Frankfurt Airport

Was very disappointed in this property. First off, staff walked into our room while I was in the shower, my baby was sleeping and woke them and my husband was scrambling to figure out why they were coming in. The bed has massive craters from people sleeping in it. The ac did not work well at all, and then window barely opened so that wasn’t an option. The pillows were basically air. The bed spread had a rip into and weird stains on the curtains. Overall disappointed in my stay. One of the most expensive hotels on our trip.

the hotel is literally 2 minutes from the airport. the underground parking was easy to navigate and take the elevator up to the lobby. the desk staff was very helpful and the rooms were ready early for us. My family would stay there again anytime we fly into Frankfurt.

Booked stay for family members who were granted parole to the USA. Spoke with hotel manager on the day of their arrival, and was assured that meals and other incidental charges would be billed to the room and my credit card. Hours later, the Hyatt restaurant refused to fulfill the hotel guest’s dinner. I was unable to reach hotel management, but the restaurant manager called several hours later to explain that they made an error with the room number.

So the breakfast staff was wonderful. The room was freezing cold with a cap on how warm we could make the room. Checking in was good but checking out could improve. We simply needed a taxi to get to the airport. The staff seemed unhelpful. Its not their job but they could assist foreigners if they like. Breakfast offered a variety. Coffee was good. Don't think i will stay here again. Get a hotel with a free shuttle to avoid the taxi crooks and one with friendlier staff when departing. Taxi was twenty-five Euros for a super short drive for two adults and a child.

Nothing Unique. No lunch was served at the property (although they have a restaurant at the property). Only breakfast and I guess dinner? They have a place called the market place or something like that where you could get horrible soggy pre packed sandwiches. Terrible and the carpet in our room smelled like a gym bag so when lying on the bed you could smell it even more. Families with kids who have flown long hours and have a layover or a day in Frankfurt might like us find it inconvenient that the restaurant doesn’t serve lunch and there is no decent food to get at the property.

The “night manager” was one of the rudest and most disrespect full people I have ever met. He was rude to my kids which resulted in me calling him out!

New hotel, good space and look. Sink space is too small, sink looks like a baby bathtub taking all the space for personal items. Overhead projector like lighting in bathroom too bright for left on overnight, construction and nothing to see around property other than the train stop. The building entrance looks like an office building with no brand or logo at eye level so if you are standing below the canopy because the taxi dropped you there you will not see where you’re entering. Very frustrating and time wasting, I had to walk in and verify by asking the front desk folks. Employees are just too impersonal and rigid for many cultures other than the native. My advice, become less banking businesslike and more flexible to travelers’ needs and requests.

The front desk person overnight, Alexander, was amazingly helpful in getting us milk for crying infant. Great support and above the call of duty.

Staff went out of their way to help tired family whose flight had been canceled.

We had to wait 1 hr for our room to be cleaned. We were checking-in in the morning but I had emailed weeks early telling them so. Had a family room which was clean but the pull out couch was broken.
