Hilton Frankfurt Airport

Great location. 2 great rooms with a connecting door. Spacious lobby with room for the kids to run around

Beautiful hotel, very stylish with modern, comfortable rooms. Only "negative" is the trip to the airport. Would think as "Airport Hotel", would be closer. Was quite a hike and a bus ride, too. No taxis out front and no hotel shuttle. Booked bc of 7:25am flight. No easier than taking middle of the night Uber to airport from downtown Frankfurt. Very nice stay with family but will plan better next time.

It took me over an hour to find the Hilton. I didn’t see a single sign for the hotel. I was alone and with a young child and we were both very tired. I asked someone and they said to go to baggage claim and then there would be signs but there were none. I then went to hotel shuttles and asked where the Hilton was and the person made it seem like the Garden Inn and the Hilton were in separate locations. I was hot and sweaty and very upset when (after asking 3 random people as there were no signs) we finally found the Hilton.

This is an airport hotel. It’s a very big airport, and yet there are no signs in the airport about the location of the Hilton Hotel and how to get there. There are many signs leading to the Hilton Garden Inn, but nothing about the Hilton hotel. We wasted one hour running around the airport with our kids and heavy suitcases trying to find this hotel around midnight after a long flight. When we finally found it, the lady at the reception knew very well that there is a big problem with the signage (basically, it doesn’t exist). We were tired and upset and will not stay in this hotel again. Is it really so difficult to install some signs leading the way to this hotel?

We checked in around 10pm and I asked if there was room service the agent said no. We were starving. She did not offer any options to eat except to go to the bar. We were too tired for that. Instead we saw a Burger King and sent the kids to get us dinner but it was closed. So my kids ate cup of soup from the hotels store next door. The next morning we discovered that there was intact room service available. I was very upset. I complained to the front desk. The manger on duty tried explaining and apologizing for the lack of training for the new agent. I said this is not the service I expect from Hilton. She did not offer anything else. I was no satisfied with her explanation. I asked for the breakfast charges to be removed. They did credit us for that. I would not stay here again. Poor customer service.
