First Landing Beach Resort and Villas

Had a lovely stay but was promised a room upgrade due to being a gold member and family of 6 but when we arrived it wasn’t arranged so we squeezed in the room.

This is Fiji the way you remember it as a kid, and that’s a good thing. Really friendly staff and beautiful grounds. Definitely rustic, but in the best way possible. My only constructive criticism would be if they could renovate the bathrooms. While their food is great, I would also recommend the restaurant at the marina next door. One of the best in Fiji. That’s not to take away from First Landing, just a reason to stay longer

Booked Grand Nalamu Villa . Friendly staff . Great breakfasts . Great space , pool & outdoor area with gate to the beach . Ideal for a large family or a couple of families staying for more than a few days together who may like to just be together , enjoying the pool , water activities and maybe cook( didn’t as we were there for a wedding) and play indoor games away from shopping. The three large bedrooms with ensuites were clean and comfortable with generous amenities. The large upstairs bedroom with the queen and 3 single beds is ideal for parent/parents with children or older kids / teens who may want to tell stories long into the night . Would have been nice to have stayed longer and just relax together as a family . Hope to be back.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom garden bure, very clean but a little outdated (esp the bathroom) although I note the villas, etc are a little more modern. Staff are excellent especially Fina, John, Rosa, Mia and Miriam - so great with children (as all locals are). The grounds within are beautiful and well kept. Would stay again!

Very friendly staff . You feel like a family member rather than just a guest. Food was amazing specially Spicy Lamb Chaser and Lamb Cutlets. 10/10

Beautiful quiet resort on the beach set within an incredibly well maintained tropical garden oasis with the best sunsets and friendliest staff. Ideal for families, kids club/activities/warrior and fire dance nights were great, felt very safe, pool lovely and big, warm and well maintained. Spotlessly clean room (we stayed in a garden bure). Food from the kitchen always to a high standard and good value for money, especially compared with resorts in Denarau. Spa massages awesome too! Staff incredibly kind and knowledgeable, one (Lotte - Vinaka!!) even caught the bus with us to Lautoka town to guide us around. Kids didn't want to leave!! Would highly recommend.

We recently stayed at First Landing for 5 nights in the one bedroom villa. The resort staff are wonderful and very helpful. The food and atmosphere was amazing. I can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend staying at First Landing if you want to have more of a Fijian authentic experience - perfect for couples as well as families traveling with young children.
