Tanoa Waterfront Hotel

The room was dirty with stained sheets and hair everywhere. The floor had soap left and AC was not working. The staff did not care and was rude. Never staying here and told family and friends about condition as well.

Great place to stay if you need some time to stay around in the west. You will also catch beautiful sunsets and you can take walks by the seaside. Great exercise areas around as well and great for family walks in the mornings and afternoons.

My family loved this property

Overall, it was a nice property and the room was large and spacious. We got toiletries each day, as well as milk and tea/coffee etc topups. The coffee machine coffee at breakfast was weak and the breakfasts exactly the same each day - could do with adding muesli, yoghurt, and more local fruit options. At some point a nice refurbish is needed, especially bathrooms and the hallways (musty old worn carpet). There was a strong stale indian food smell in our room. The beds were comfortable, the shower good, and the staff super friendly and lovely. The location was good if you have a car. Supermarket around the corner. There weren't many loungers by the pools, and the pool didnt seem superclean but lots of kids staying, loved it. The gardens were lovely. We didnt go to the restaurant at night or lunch but sitting outside each morning for breakfast was lovely. It would be fine for staying a few days. Even the 10 nights we stayed were good but we bought our own muesli and fruit to the breakfast venue and stuck to tea.
