Copenhagen Marriott Hotel

Unexpectedly poor service for a 5-star hotel. I booked a 7-nights stay at the hotel and requested through email prior for early check as I had a child with me. I was told they will try their best. On the day of check-in, we arrived at about 9am and was told to come back at 11am as they have put my request for early check-in as priority. We arrived back at the hotel to learn that the room was not ready, and waited till 4pm (regular check-in time). While I can understand early check-in is granted on a case-to-case basis, it is not right to claim to be put on priority but we ended up sitting in the lobby for 5 hours. So many ended up checking in earlier than us. And instead of following up on my request while I sat at the lobby, I had to continuously rejoin the queue to ask for updates. That aside, on our last night stay, our towels were taken away and replaced with just one. Called housekeeping but no one picked up, so we went to the lobby to make the request. The towels never came.

Everything was perfect!!! Right on the water. Exceptional staff - front desk was A+ - actually all staff was. I will always stay at this hotel in Copenhagen and my kids and agreed that Marriott is our favorite hotel chain. Thank you to the crew there. Also, for good members the executive lounge was amazing!!
