Holiday Inn Express Yorkton East, an IHG Hotel

Very clean and friendly staff. My only complaint was that the stagf did not know what a "shower chair" was or who would need or use it and the hotel did nor have one available. When trying to book a room for a family with a disabled dependent most hotels only have an accessible room with a king bed but dont consider that you might need another bed but hotels dont offer this as an option. Why? Anyway we didnt get the shower chair and our daughter went without a shower. We were at a Holiday Inn the nighr before and theybdid have a chair for us. I think Holiday Inn should ensure all their hotels have extra shower chairs for clients that require them.

This seems to be the place for parents to wind their kids up with sugar and let them run up and the hallways all throughout the night until the late hours. Not only has this happened on this trip, but on a previous stay as well. If you're looking for somewhere that you'll get some rest, this isn't it. The general state of the rooms is o-k, but not enough attention is being paid to the small things that become annoyances during a stay - excruciatingly slow drains, broken clothes hangers, and office chairs that nearly fall apart when sat on.

My parents and my family stayed in separate rooms and both of us had issues with our heaters. There's would not turn on and my room continued to get hotter and hotter even though I turned it off at the thermastat. I was woken up in the middle of the night by the loud noises coming from the heater. When we notified the front desk, no compensation waa offered for our uncomfortable stay.

NEVER STAY HERE!!! Tonight my family was almost escorted out of the hotel by police on new years due to a family making a complaint that we were doing drugs and drinking. No staff or security tried to come to my room to investigate this accusation. Instead they found a newborn with her grandma sleeping, with not one ounce of alcohol or weed in the room

Rooms were nice and clean. The pool was ice cold. The kids couldn’t swim in it.

Pool was freezing for little kids. Huge groups of large kids playing obnoxiously in the pool made ot hard to enjoy with little kids so we had to leave. A few things were not cleaned up from previous guests (bottle caps under bed skirt) Everything else was great.

Travel and stay were for visiting family in the nursing home. The hotel was nice and quiet the breakfasts are healthy with a good variety for everyone. We liked the coffee/tea bar in the dining area. Always coffee and hot water for tea no matter the time.

Nice family hotel!

I had a nice stay at the Holiday Inn Express Yorkton. Staff were friendly and breakfast was enjoyable. However, two rooms at a time were able to book pool times simultaneously. I had looked forward to swimming laps after a long day. I would have thought there would be a maximum number of individuals per room to be able to be in the pool, but a large family joined me in the pool, of course, unmasked. It was very chaotic for this small pool area. I was not able to enjoy this pool time to relax. It was unsafe during the pandemic, as no social distancing was able to be maintained. I was provided with no assistance for this.
