Moosomin Canalta

Staff was great, kids loved the pool, convenient for dogs. My son left his wallet there and they mailed it to us! Great breakfast, overall great stay.

The kids loved the pool and waterslide, the staff was supremely friendly and helpful, and we had THREE queen beds! For a big family like us, that was just amazing. And having restaurants within walking distance when we're on a road trip made a big difference! We will absolutely be back! Thanks, Moosimin Canalta!

This is a perfect spot to stop for families. Large rooms, great breakfast, and pool, water slide and hot tub made our stop here short but sweet. Kids had time to get some energy out at the pool, it was quiet and rooms were clean and comfortable, and we had a great breakfast before we headed out for another day of road tripping. It’s right beside the Trans Canada, which is another bonus. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our one-night stay in Moosomin Canalta. The receptionist was friendly and prompt to help with requests. I told her the pool was out of towels, and she brought a fresh stack within a few minutes. The hotel and our room were clean and comfortable. I found the bed quite firm, but we slept well. The room was quiet. Breakfast was tasty and had lots of options! My only warning would be about the waterslide: We were travelling with toddlers, and they aren't big enough to go down the slide alone. The slide is closed in, and a rather small tunnel. I was able to lean back and still have my kid on my lap, but my tall husband had to lie down with our kid on his lap, and the slide becomes extremely fast! They shot out of the slide like a bullet and my son bonked his head on the slide because of the speed. Fortunately, he's a tough kid and still wanted to go down the slide with me, but Daddy was done for the day after one slide. This is just a heads up for families with babies/toddlers! Otherwise, the older kids who were at the pool enioyed the fast slide!
