Sandman Hotel Saskatoon

Service and room was good. The only complaint was the denny's was under renovation and we had a child with us that wasn't allowed in the bar to eat so we had to eat in our room

The pool was not kid friendly... no area for young kids

We had to be transferred to another room as the initial room was not ready for guests the toilet was inoperable it took too long to do the transfer we had to stay and wait in the lobby too long for my grandchildren and youngest daughter to be up late waiting to go to bed other than that it was good i

Overall nice hotel, definitely not big enough and not baby accessible

The beds and pillows were fluffy and cozy. The room was pretty clean. Slightly dated in a couple places but good for the price. Our family used the pool - it was basic but a nice feature to have included. We would stay again.

No heat in the room, front desk clerk is some poor kid who has no clue how to work heat device, and a call to maintenance did not resolve the problem

This is our 2nd stay at this hotel with our kids 2-5 yrs old. We always get the same type ( because it suits our needs) of room & enjoy the dining options. We just really wish the pool was a bit warmer. Its quite frigid for all of us to enjoy- Esp our youngest. Otherwise, this hotel has been our go-to.

Arrived late Friday as we made an emergency trip to Saskatoon due to a family illness...checkin was good...when we used the bathroom for the first time later that night it had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke...we left the fan on all night and smell did not go away. Had a shower and the water did not drain out of the tub. Could not turn fan off on noisy air conditioner, left window open and unplugged unit...Motorcycle starting at 6 woke us up as we left window open...the front desk tried to help but too little too late...manager was not available...when we checked out the manager provided us with gift card for breakfast. that was appreciated but by that time we decided not to stay another night there.

I was pleased that i was able to switch rooms after booking. The room we switched to worked better for our family. Dining options were suitable for us 👍 the pool was a little cooler than we liked. The sofa bed was a little finicky to put back. The bathroom door either needs adjusting or WD40. And the cable was a little on the choppy side so we didnt bother watching it. Otherwise, it was quite suitable for our family and we'd stay again 👍

The floor n sofa chair could use a good cleaning but otherwise the place is perfect N the best adults n kids have separate sleeping area!!!!
