The matress was terrible , and the children on next door was a Monstert till midnight !

Very family friendly hotel. Perfect little weekend away. Only issue was the hot tub was cold. The staff kept saying they adjusted the temperature and it would be good in a few hours but both days it was very cold. Probably 85-90 degrees I would imagine. The staff would not admit it was not functioning so we kept coming back every few hours only to be met with continued disappointment.

We came to relax with the pool and spa. There were broken and the clerk experted this for a while. Gym is only 18+ no other options ( games or cards) expect paying around the hotel or at front desk. No compensation offered cause it did not say facilities were out of service. The price is very expensive to watch tv:( Its not in the village or with other entertainment options. No juice or milk or beverages for kids at breakfast. This too is decepointing.

The way they treat us and the kidness on how they accepted our dog was wonderful. For the ironman the personal prepared box lunches for the athletes and for their compagnion and that was a great plus! Also, the explanations of all how it works and guidelines given for the event too was awesome!

Rooms were clean. My kids loved the pool, although it was a small pool they loved the slides and hot tub. We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was just ok, limited options.

Everything was acceptable for the price and location. Everything was clean and renovated. The only down side is the bathroom fan was extremely loud. If you wake up in the middle of the night and have to turn on the light to go to the bathroom, you will surely wake up the whole family. Same goes with the AC unit. We had a full size fridge in the room too, which was a big plus and even a small kitchen. The fridge also made noise when it runs, so unfortunately, it was a bit of a bummer. Otherwise it would have been perfect. As for the free breakfast, they really cut a lot of the food out. It’s pretty much just self made waffles and bread/bagel. There’s yogurt and cereal and that’s about it. It’s very basic compared to what they had before.

A lot of people highly rate this property and I can see why. It’s fairly nice. A few cute extra options right at the hotel for families. What bothered me was the floors in the hotel room. Lots of black specks like everywhere. I few times I wanted to just ask for a broom to clean it myself. It was like that the second we walked in. Is it mud? From bugs? I don’t know. We saw some ants in the hallway which I mean it’s that time of year; I would have just loved if they cleaned the hotel floor before we arrived. Also the pool is pretty small but the kids love the slide. I wish parents would be more responsible and tell their kids to leave the bottom of the slide when they are done though. Lastly - I highly recommend you AVOID the Tim Hortons that’s 2 mins from the hotel. Service didn’t even exist. They had next to nothing available and the staff were SO rude. We used the gas station instead for our snacks during the day.
