DoubleTree by Hilton Toronto Airport

Great hotel near Pearson Airport. No complaints. The adjoining restaurant was good; the pool was great for the kids and it was quick access to catch our flight.

It had terrible wheelchair accessible rooms and washrooms in the entire facility. They did not have automatic doors to the rooms, which made it extremely difficult and ended up in my family member with a disability got trapped in the doorway of the washroom that was labelled wheelchair accessible. I also had a new credit card - that somehow the chip became defective on during my trip. Despite me trying to problem solve and explaining my situation- the lady at the front desk looked at me like I didn’t have any money on my card and said “there’s nothing, I can do. I can’t help it than your card is declining” in a condescending manner- even when it wasn’t declining-but was the defective chip. I said it was a terrible rule that you can’t use your debit card in an even like this and the same woman then stated “well, it’s not my rule- it’s not like I own the hotel personally” - again in a condescending manner. I was extremely upset at the way I was treated and will NEVER be staying at another Hilton hotel. That was my first and last time. Rude staff and very cold atmosphere!

Amazing hotel your family will love it

I arrived exhausted with three kids in tow and the woman at the counter was outstanding. She had us quickly checked in, kids got cookies and she offered to have the McDonalds I ordered brought up to the room when it arrived.

My kids loved getting a cookie upon arrival to the hotel. Staff was friendly and room service was prompt . Beds were comfy we had a great stay. Just wish there was a tub in the bathroom.

Hotel staff very helpful having the restaurant attached was great. Parking not included, breakfast expensive. For a family any of the others which include breakfast would be great. Good hotel but prices two high for what you get.

Mediocre at best. Breakfast was super disappointing for our party of 2 kids and 2 adults. Not enough servers and food was kinda gross. Buffet was sad, with many empty bins. Really bad value. I've had better buffets at Best Western. Since our baggage was misplaced and we stayed here unexpectedly, I took the kids to the mall to buy swimsuits so at least we could enjoy the pool and hot tub. Unfortunately, they closed the pool unexpectedly for the duration of our stay so, waste of time all around. Wouldn't bother staying here again.

Pool/restaurant- good for kids

I had phoned 4 days prior to stay and requested and play pen and high chair. I was told no problem. Upon arrival we were told a high chair was not available and that the crib was in the room. We phoned to say the crib was not in the room and were told it was not available. After about 20 min of arguing with the desk clerk and manager on duty a crib was brought up. This should have been an easy check in- but instead we had an over tired baby. Appreciate receiving the crib but why could this have not been all set in the first place.

The pool was great for the kids!
